Changed Laptop, how to transfer messages

My employer just replaced my laptop but now all of my work-related zoom chats are no longer available even though my zoom account did not change.  Is there a way to transfer all of the prior chats from my old laptop to the new one?

I have seen multiple unresolved tickets on this manner dating back several months now, and am posting to see if Zoom Support or any community champions out there might have any updates on it.

 

This issue affects myself and many random users throughout my company.  Basically, in Team Chat settings, we have "Play sound when I receive a new message" checked, as well as other settings like Push Notifications being set to "All messages", and nothing else being muted.  Yet users don't get a sound when they receive a new chat, whether Zoom is the active window or not.

 

I've ensured in all cases that a working audio device (internal speakers or otherwise) was set as the default audio device, both in Zoom and in Windows sound settings.  And I've checked Windows Sound Mixer to ensure the Zoom app itself wasn't turned down.  Sometimes simply re-installing Zoom for an affected user does the trick, but mostly it does not.

 

We all use Dell Latitude laptops, with some MS Surfaces and Dell desktops, and the issue affects all such devices at random.  The notification sound works for most, but a fairly large number of people seem to have this issue.  We're currently on companywide version 5.12.3, but will be updating companywide soon.  Sometimes updates fix the issue for people, but usually the issue persists through updates.  That has been the case several quarters now.

 

Does anyone have any ideas here?

Internal Company Contacts is gone

Since yesterday, the contacts of the organization in the application have disappeared from all users of the company. Someone has the latest versions of Zoom, and today they disappeared on all versions of ZOOM after restarting.

Hi, I'm new to zoom. I have created a FREE company account (with CC verified) and added multiple users. (Admin->User management->users) and activated their accounts. 

 

When I log in to my account, most of the times, I cannot see the company contacts list. It does show up sometimes, but it's not there 90% of the time. I have checked on multiple devices and it's the same for all the users I added. (added the users 24 hours ago)

 

I can see them in my chats, I can also see them if I star them (under the starred contacts list). But they are missing in the contacts section. 

 

I have checked this in Zoom Workplace 6.3.11 (60501) - Win 11 and in the web version. 

 

How do I fix this ?

Hi there,

my company uses Zoom as a chat for internal communications. Sometimes it happens that the zoom on my Windows 11 PC is apparently operational but in reality I am offline for other colleagues. Colleagues write to me but for them I am offline even if for my zoom I am online. The only way to solve the problem is to become reachable again with the chats and restart zoom. This happens about every 2 or 3 hours even with the PC in use. Zoom is updated and connected with a Lan cable. Thank you so much.
