Why do Zoom calender invites need to be manually downloaded into calender?

A number of my customers don't turn up for zoom meetings.

They all point out the same issue

When Zoom sends an invite, they click accept but this meeting does not automatically appear in their calendar.

They need to manually download the invite from the Zoom email.

Why does it not automatically add to their calendar, like all the other providers do?

This is a common problem. Participants need to click to add the calendar file to their calendar. A simple workaround would be to send reminders to ensure they turn up even if they forgot to add it to their calendar. You could either send the reminders manually or there are a range of apps that can do this for you. Looking through the Zoom marketplace there is an app, Salepager, that seems to be built for sending Zoom meeting reminders.
