We're using Zoom Rooms with a Mac mini controller, Neat pad tablet, HDMI display and MXL AC-360-Z V2 microphones.  The audio is frequently scratchy and distorted from the microphones.  Users within the room can hear audio from remote participants, video quality is excellent, just the microphone is giving us inconsistent results.

 

We have another room with a Shure mic that works well.  The acoustics in this room weren't good for the Shure so we're trying the MXL.  Has anyone else encountered this and/or found a fix?  It's frustrating that out of the 3 microphones we've tried to date, only one has worked at all with the Zoom app.  (The first one was a Bluetooth speakerphone that also gave us distorted audio.)

Does Zoom Room Digital Signage not support a wired share?

 

I know ZRDS supports wireless share through share key, but cannot find any documentation that specifically says it supports a wired share. 

 
Our typical setup is magewell capture HDMI and that auto switches in zoom. using zoom rooms this works fine, but I’m not having any luck using ZRDS. 

anyone have luck with a wired share using ZRDS?

I've uploaded a picture to help, but I'm currently getting the error message "Zoom Rooms must be upgraded to join this meeting. Please contact IT for assistance."

 

I am upgrading the other appliance, the Poly x30, but it's the Poly TC8 says my "Zoom Room" is up to date. Do I need to upgrade the OS to get the Zoom Room to upgrade?

Zoom Rooms update rolls back on its own from 5.11.3 -> 5.3.1.

I have a Zoom Rooms setup with a 6th Gen iPad for scheduling/running the meetings, and a Micro Dell Optiplex running Zoom Rooms on Windows 10. 

 

The iPad is running 5.11.0. The Optiplex is trying to upgrade from 5.3.1 to 5.11.3. After choosing to upgrade it on the administration site, it will stay on 5.11.3 for maybe 24 hours or so, and then downgrades back to 5.3.1. This is an issue as Zoom will not run on this version displaying the error: "Zoom Rooms must be upgraded to join this meeting."

UPDATE: After a little testing, I found that after upgrading, the old version is still installed along side the new version. I am not sure if that is intentional, but I am assuming this conflict may be causing the rollback. I decided to remove both versions and manually install the latest version. We'll see how that goes.

Option show my connected time in linux

In the zoom that is for the linux operating system, there is no option to show my time in session. Does anyone know if it can be configured in another way?

Cant see camera feed from third party join

When inviting anyone with a Microsoft Teams Room to our zoom call we cant see their camera feed. This has happened a few times. And no their camera is not off, the issue is isolated to anyone joining zoom from an mtr.

Unable Waiting Room and Noise Bell Notification

How I can disconnect waiting room and noise bell that notifies that someone has entered. I want to manually control it.

I'm trying to setup a hybrid learning environment for my teachers where we want dual screens in a small room: one at the front, one att the back of the room. Two cameras ar used: the main camera (X50, placed above the Flip) and a Logitech Brio 4K at top of the screen in the back of the room. Whe have choosen this setup so that the teacher should be able to view both the participants in the classroom as well as the participants at home. Therefor we only want gallery view to be shown on the rear screen (and nothing els). The front screen is a Samsung Flip3 interactive screen which will be used for whiteboard, screen sharing etc.

 

Problem: when screen sharing, the system performs as we want but when NOT screen sharing the system only shows gallery view on the front screen (we want it at the rear). How do i solve this? I realy don't want to add an extra computer in the system just to present gallery view on the back screen.
