I just found zoom fax today and very happy about it. When setting up cover pages it looks like fields can be dynamic base on the sender's user record. However when we tested it only the sender name and fax number automatically populated along with the recipient fax number. Does the system support automatically populating sender company, sender address, and sender phone number? If so, where do we need to update user profile records?

VVX411 Light flashing but no voicemails

Several of our users are experiencing a problem on their Polycom VVX411 phones where the message light is flashing and the screen shows new messages; however, there are no messages there.  Has anyone had this problem or know of a solution?

I have users that connect to a server via Parallels for a remote desktop. They complain about call lag when calling another Zoom user with a desktop on the server. Would Zoom VDI be a solution for them? From what I understand there is a VDI Workplace... Show more

I have users that connect to a server via Parallels for a remote desktop. They complain about call lag when calling another Zoom user with a desktop on the server. Would Zoom VDI be a solution for them? From what I understand there is a VDI Workplace installer like the Zoom client that goes on the server and a VDI plugin that is installed to the users local machine so all VOIP processing gets done on the local laptop?

Unable to get to Provisioning Server

since the AWS outage, we have not been able to provision any phones.  They aren't reaching the provisioning server.

Is there a way to disable the Zoom Workplace app from audibly ringing when it is connected to a desk phone using call control? We've recently started using Zoom phone, and several users have said it's annoying hearing the Zoom ringtone as well as the desk phone ring tone. 

 

Is there a way to do this, or any alternative solutions that could be suggested?

 

We use Yealink T44W handsets if that is useful to know at all.

I have coworkers that are using Android devices (watches) that are able to see who is calling them from Zoom and are able to answer said call. I have tried all the tricks/tips on how to get this to work on my Apple Watch, but cannot get any of it to work.

 

Anyone know if this still isn't available on Apple Watches?

Hi All,

We’re currently using Zoom integrated with Salesforce Lightning. Most of our users access Zoom on their mobile devices. We’d like to enable a feature where, when someone receives a call, Zoom can automatically sync with Salesforce to display the caller's contact information.

Is there a way to configure this setup so that Salesforce contacts are used to identify incoming callers in Zoom Mobile?

Any guidance or assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Cisco released their latest 9800 series phones over a year ago. Cisco markets the phone as, "use one device for Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Webex Calling, Broadworks, or other 3rd party cloud calling platforms. My Zoom rep has indicated that this phone might be certified in June 2025 and that it's on their roadmap but that no official ETA has been announced.

We are seriously considering switching from our legacy Avaya Aura PBX to Zoom Phone. We like the Poly Edge devices we've tested however the Cisco 8800 and newer 9800 series devices seem a little higher quality and more substantial.  I personally prefer the larger buttons. Has anyone heard anything about when these phones will be supported by Zoom and other cloud calling platforms? I've look at all the providers (Zoom, Nextiva, 8x8, RingCentral, Microsoft, etc.) and none of them support the 9800 series yet, even though it's been out a year.
