On a recent info screen, Zoom asked me for my phone number. But Zoom responds that the phone number doesn't exist. Is Zoom expecting a special Zoom phone number? It just asks for "phone number" I gave my actual phone number, and got "phone number does not exist". Confused!

We recently implemented zoom phone for our offices and let's just say there's been plenty of issues- First one, there is no option to transfer directly to somebody's voice mailbox. I've read conflicting information online that this should be a feature... and also that "this feature may not be available on some devices". Can anybody provide some clarity about the transfer to voicemail feature? There simply is no option to transfer to voicemail at all, where there "should be". second problem, We purchased a bunch of Poly Voyager 5200 UC headsets to use with zoom phone, along with Poly VVX411 desk phones. These DO NOT interoperate. Both devices are listed on the zoom phone compatibility list. When a call is incoming, the "answer call" button on the headset simply does not work. To work for answering calls, it requires that the UC usb dongle be plugged into the computer (not the phone), however after pressing the "answer call button" on the headset, it answers the call through the desk phone, not the headset. This is useless. 2) Press the "headset" button on the Voyager411 This is obviously a problem because people want to be able to answer calls when away from their desk by pressing the "answer call" button on the headset. This is not currently possible. Any input? Seems to me we went from a 100% working setup with desk phones and headsets to zoom phone which simply doesn't work. It's almost as if we need to have 2 UC usb dongles, one to be plugged into the desk phone, and one to be plugged into the computer to get complete functionality.... too bad a Poly headset can only connect to a single UC USB device so this isn't possible. No connecting the headset to computer via bluetooth and phone via USB dongle does not work. The answer call button fails to answer calls and no audio through headset.
The second reason this is problematic is because the UC usb dongle needs to be plugged into the desk phone in order for zoom phone to work with the headset at all and for the calls to actually come through the headset. This renders the "answer call button" on the headset useless, as the only way to use the headset with zoom phone is to:
1) have UC adapter plugged into the phone (which renders the answer call headset button useless, it doesn't do anything).
Only then can you talk/hear through the poly headsets with zoom phone.
Yes the audio settings are set to "sync buttons on headset".

how to provision a non supported phone device model to zoom phone user. Has anyone done this before?
Hi, I have a Zoom phone plan based out of AU/NZ that has the international add-on. I have a team member based in the USA who also needs Zoom phone with an emphasis on being able to make calls in AU/NZ/USA/Canada and the UK. Do I simply need to purchase a US-based plan + international add-on for her or is there a more cost-effective way to do this? Thanks

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a way to have multiple users receive a call and whoever picks it up - they handle the call from thereon out. So far I've reviewed the following call routing methods but none fits my use case: The sticking point is that some of the "members" must be an external numbers. Does such call routing method exist in Zoom phone? In the graph below, imagine if Carly and Grant are cell phone numbers? Thanks Boyan

Hi everyone, I'm curious if anyone has figured out how to use Poly Obi 302's multiple POTS ports? I have several of these and they work just fine using LINE-1 but I see that there's another POTS port there: LINE-2 so I was curious if someone has successfully assigned an extension and/or DID to LINE-2 and if yes - how did you do it? Also any licensing implications to be aware of? Obviously to get the Obi provisioned on Zoom a device license will be used but what about the ports themselves? Boyan

I need some initial help setting things up. I know there are many great videos and articles, but none that I have found that help with my particular setup. I have been operating a small one man consulting business for about 10 years now and recently switched to Zoom Phone a few months ago and because of my inability to find answers to some of my questions, it has been impacting my business ever since I switched over to Zoom Phone. I would like to publish both a toll-free # and a toll number as my companies main office numbers on my company website. My initial purchase from Zoom included one toll-free number and two toll numbers. I also have a Poly EDGE E220 desk phone. Furthermore, I want to be able to use the Auto receptionist and IVR. I believe I would like all incoming calls to go through the auto receptionist/IVR both during and outside of normal business hours. Do I concern myself with call queues and or call groups? If I set both the toll-free number and one of the toll numbers as main office numbers, does that mean the only phone lines visible on my desk phone is the second toll number? I wish that I could pay someone for some initial phone consultation but have had no luck finding anyone. I would pay someone handsomely for this service.
