I am setting up Zoom Phone and SMS. I've gone through all the setup steps for SMS, campaigns, etc. And now I still can't text to or from my recently ported number. Is there a propagation time on any of this? The number came back as ported yesterday and I noticed this morning that my campaign I applied for yesterday is now active. Or am I missing something else?

It has been active for a couple of weeks.
There is only one campaign.
I cannot send or receive SMS
Only one phone number.
Only one user {the admin}
The number is assigned to that person.

How do I solve Error 503?

Hi all...I use ZOOM phone service through my work account, but I work from home. Each morning I start up ZOOM, I need to completely log out of ZOOM and restart the app before I can make calls. Several days ago, the resetting process no longer worked. ZOOM will not connect for phone calls (Service Unavailable: Code 503). The phone pad stays greyed out, so I can't make any calls. When I try to look at the details of the error, it says Registration Error. I have tried rebooting the app multiple times, and rebooting my computer and modem/router several times. Nothing is working. ZOOM continues to attempt connection all day, but no success. It was suggested that I turn off my SIP ALG setting in my modem, but nobody seems to know how to navigate around within my router settings to find this one setting, including my service provider who gave us the modem!

 

All recommendations welcome...

We have the phone system as below.  What we cant figure out is how to set this up so when one of the extensions is on a call - its shows on the system that extension is in use.

 

Whilst when, for example, I am on a call, I can see that a staff member is trying to call me, however I cant end the call with a client to take the internal call, so need the system to show other users my extension is in use. 

 

Help!!

We are about to roll out Zoom phone to our teachers this fall.  They already have Zoom desktop app installed on their MacBooks since we have been using Zoom Meeting for years.

 

I'm trying to come up with a User Template to disable incoming calls on these phone during business hours and forward directly to voicemail.

 

They will all be in class teaching lessons and we don't want them to get incoming parent calls during class.  I'm looking for an automated solution- not one that involves me relying on them manually setting something up.

 

Anyone have any ideas?

Hi,

In some of our offices we use the phone delegation feature.  Mostly with the main number in a department.  If the person who is responsible for answering that phone is unavailable, another person in the room can pickup the call.

 

Although it appears both phones ring.  We would rather the delegate's phone NOT ring.  Is this possible?

Hello, I think I have a pretty simple question but can't seem to sort it out. 

 

I'm one person that wants one direct dial number. 

 

I added Zoom Phone to my Zoom account and it looks like I have Zoom Phone Basic based on the questions I answered. I now have a "main number" and one extension. I don't really need this. I don't want anyone having to dial an extension to reach me nor do I need a generic main number. Also, I have no plans to add other people any time soon. 

 

My question is this:  What is the best/simplest/lowest cost way to get one direct dial number? Do I need to change my plan from Basic to something else or do I need to add a second line?

 

I appreciate any feedback!

Resolved! Latest Zoom update erased call and SMS history from Zoom phone

Me and a handful of colleagues updated to the latest zoom, Version: 5.14.2 (17213). We go into the phone section on the app and our history for both calling and text is gone.

Shared Line outgoing caller ID

When calling from the shared line to an outgoing number, the caller ID shows us as just the number rather than the name assigned to the Shared Line.  Is there a way to change the Shared Line outgoing caller ID to reflect a name rather than a number?
