I just learned today that the blocked/spam indicator icon is not an org-synced indicator.  All our zoom phone users are expected to report spam calls that they answer, but since the blocked/spam icon isn’t an org-synced indicator, the only way to verify if numbers are being reported by staff members is to search the manual spam number list.  I believe organizations using zoom phone would universally benefit if the blocked indicator was org-synced.To the development team: “Zoom Phone: When an admin/user marks a number as spam (Manual Spam Number list), show the same ‘marked as spam/blocked’ indicator icon in call history for all users/org members (especially call queue members), not just the user who reported it.” 

Hi, I am fairly new to zoom and while setting up the zoom phone, extension number #800 was assigned automatically. I am unable to understand the steps how to reset it or delete the extension number. Any help or direction would help 🙂

Hello,I would like to explain where we stand with our Zoom Phone subscription, as the process has not gone the way we expected.We purchased the license 15 days ago. We were aware that a separate request had to be submitted in order to obtain a phone number, and we did submit that request as required, with the information and supporting documents asked of us.Since then, several days have passed and we have received no approval and no decision of any kind. The request appears to be pending, with no update, no rejection, and no indication of what remains to be completed on our side.As a result, our license has been paid for and active for two weeks while remaining completely unusable: our team still cannot make or receive a single call through Zoom Phone.Could you please tell us where the request currently stands, whether anything further is expected from us, and when we can realistically expect approval and activation?Thank you for your help.Best regards,

Recently, Zoom’s Note-taking has popped up on my Mac each time I use Siri to place a call on my iPhone – see the attached screenshot.I’ve not found a setting to block this pop-up.-- Ward

We closed our account with Zoom last November (2025) and the domains were not released. Now I need to release the domains in a closed account but that has to be done with support on the line. I can’t contact support because the account is closed. The chat bot can’t help, and tells me to contact support. When I call support I’m told there is no phone support on the account. I’m in a vicious circle here.  How does one contact support without an active account?

Is there a setting to automatically split and send SMS messages that are over 160 characters?

Trying to come up with a simple way to have the agents monitor if thee are calls in the queue.  I was trying to set up a BLF button on their phone, but the only way to do that is to set them up to monitor the group.  If I do that they have access to listen to calls.  If I take that privilege away then it also take it away from the supervisor.  Does anyone have any ideas.

This doesn't seem possible currently, but I would like to be able to create "breaks" in the business hours in Zoom. For example, I would like to be able to set my hours from 8am to 12pm, and 1pm to 5pm, each day so my phone doesn't ring while I'm on lunch. Granted, I can set to DND but I have a more unique example where that's not the best option. We are a university and faculty have different class times where they don't want to receive calls on their computers while in class. Sure they can set DND while in class, but if they don't remember to set it, they will get a call in the middle of class. It seems like it would be useful to be able to set multiple business hours for each day. Does anyone else have a suggestion?

I just bought a new Samsung phone. I cannot connect to my car's Bluetooth audio through the Zoom app at all. It is very frustrating. I cannot find an audio setting in either the app or website that helps. My Bluetooth audio is working perfectly for evey other app.

Hi, I have a Zoom Phone Basic plan with 1 license/1 number. Need clarity on the following:How many laptops can I log into simultaneously using this single license/number? Can outgoing calls be made from all logged-in laptops at the same time, or only one outgoing call per number at a time? For cost saving, if I purchase an additional number (without a new license) and assign it to a new user’s email, is this possible? How many laptops can that additional number be logged into simultaneously? Will that additional number support both inbound and outbound calling, or does it require a separate license for outgoing calls?Appreciate any guidance. Thank you.

I enabled the Zoom call transcript and today I used it on two calls, but I cannot locate the transcript.  Where do I find them to copy and paste them into a system?

Has anyone else had an incredibly frustrating experience with Zoom Phone support?We’re running a 24/7 medical hotline, so reliability and responsive support are absolutely critical. Unfortunately, our experience has been extremely disappointing.It’s incredibly difficult to reach a human. Everything is hidden behind AI and automated systems, and when you finally manage to log a case, getting someone to take ownership and follow through to resolution seems nearly impossible.Ironically, we chose to migrate to Zoom Phone because we had an excellent account manager who gave us confidence in the platform. Sharing encase someone has an interest in using the Cisco ATA’s with Zoom phone. I’ve had issues with pushing certain parameters from my Zoom template to the Cisco ATA MPP 191/192. Working with both CiscoTAC and Zoom, Zoom engineering confirmed they do not currently support sub parameters. However, primary parameters are not an issue. Sub parameters would be in this format below which encompasses everything in between the header parameter <web management> & closing </web management> and if your familiar with configuring parameters for the Cisco ATA 191/192 MPP, you’ll quickly figure out, Zoom doesn’t follow the standard XML structure as documented by Cisco. This is probably why the Cisco ATA does not render what is being sent because the format is foreign. I am waiting on Zoom engineering to provide on a fix/update which looks to be Q4 of this year. You can still unbox and configure the ATA manually, but if you have a mass amount to deploy, good luck. <Web_Management

In the company overview account settings, I am able to set the default voicemail greeting for most things, however it seems I can't do it for holiday hours.  I've got standard holidays programmed in for the whole company which apply to all extensions. As far as I can tell it only lets me change the voicemail greeting per holiday, per auto receptionist/call queue/user, which is just way too much manual work for the number of destinations we have.   Am I missing something, or is there truly no way to do this? 

For municipal compliance reasons, it is imperative that we configure the data residency of our call recordings to remain on Canadian servers.However, I am unable to locate the option to select the data location (such as Communications Content data storage or Recordings and content location).Here are the checks I have already performed on my end: In Account Management > Account Profile, the option does not appear (please see the attached screenshot). In Settings > Zoom Phone, the Data & Storage section is also missing from my interface. In our Call Queues settings, the option is not visible either. Could you please clarify the following points: Does our current license type restrict access to selecting the data location for call recordings? Is this a backend setting (Feature Flag) that needs to be enabled on your end for our tenant? I am located in Chicago, IL and I have a meeting set for people located in West Virginia to call into. However, there is no number listed for their location. The closest to them is the Washington DC phone number. Does anyone have an info on this? 

I only see 2 reports in ZOOM (Admin) Website that are somewhat useful Phone System Management> LogsAccount Management>Reports>Usage Reports>Phone SystemAccount Management>Reports>User Activity Reports>Phone System Operation Logs Am I missing a place to see reporting for Strictly ZOOM Phone on the vanilla Web Admin Webpage (web-admin)? Is there anything useful in the ZOOM Power Pack in terms of ZOOM-Phone-Reporting that I should be looking at? FINALLY is there any 3rd party reporting products or services I could look at? Thanks in advance      

Hi all,  I'd like my default transfer on yealink desk-phones to be "assisted" i can do this by changing the "Transfer Mode via Dsskey" in the yealink web interface but is there any way i can provision it in zoom for all users ? thanks 

I have a free Zoom account and just purchased a Zoom Phone plan. I've been searching help articles but literally can't figure out how to make a phone call using Zoom Phone. Maybe I don't have a full understanding of what this feature allows you to do but my goal was to be able to setup a conference call with team members then make an outbound prospecting call and have my team members listen in. I believe I have everything setup. Is there supposed to be a phone icon somewhere? I read in one article that there should be a "phone" menu at the top of the Zoom meeting window but I do not have it. HELP PLEASE!!!!

I want to know how I can convert/translate the Zoom phone call recording into text

when I schedule a meeting (40 min) I used to et a list of dial-in phone numbers.  I don’t get that list anymore.  What shall I do to generate those phone numbers??

When utilizing SMS in a call queue, we noticed if one person deleted the SMS conversation it did not delete from other team members’ queues. How can the admin adjust settings so it deletes from everyone who is in the call queue?

I do have an older MacBook Pro with Zoom Workplace installed up to version 7.1.5.84650. I am running Big Sur Version 11.7.11. Phone contacts will not load.
