Enabled Dial by Name, added it as an IVR option, and uploaded a new greeting to reflect the added option. Everything is working as anticipated except that the Dial by Name option auto presents after the greeting. Is there a way to turn this off to prevent the behavior?
Thanks.

Support assisted me in determining that I had (incorrectly) set up the IVR options within the Greeting Prompt, which played before the default IVR Greeting Prompt. To fix, I disabled the Greeting Prompt and relocated the outgoing audio to the IVR Greeting Audio Prompt and now all is as expected.

@JC-800 - to be clear, are you saying that you created the dial-by-name directory, assigned it to one of the options in the IVR that is assigned to an auto-receptionist, and before a user has an option to select the dial-by-name option (or any other option), it requests users to enter the name on their keypad? How many other options do you have in the IVR?

I’ve only tested the Closed Hours instance so far and it plays the greeting, which details the four IVR Menu options available but before an option is selected, it immediately goes into the Dial by Name (DBN) directory instructions. Option 1 is external transfer, 2 is voicemail to current extension, 3 is DBN, and last one is asterisk (star) to Repeat Menu Greeting.
