Is there a setting I can set to only record and save the audio of a meeting? Thanks in advance.

Hi @Yourkard

If you record locally, a separate audio file will be generated automatically. You will get a video file also - but you can delete that if you don't need it. The audio file is playable on its own, after the recording has been processed after the meting.

The audio/video file (MP4) will be named video[random number].mp4. The audio only file (M4A) is named audio[random number].m4a.

You can also opt to have separate audio recordings for each participant.

Hi @Yourkard

If you are Cloud Recording, there is an option to "record an audio only file".

Hi Rupert,

I wanted to ask you how can I get in the cloud recording the video and the audio files separately. Thanks in advance

Thanks Rupert.  Prefer not to use cloud recording. Is there a similar config option when using desktop version?

Hi Rupert -- So it used to be the case that you could automatically download an M4A from the cloud -- now that isn't true anymore?  I wanted to share just the audio from a recording to the cloud I just made.  Is that impossible?

TIA,

Nightspore

I''d like to record audio only (w/o the Cloud) only because it save oodles of hard drive space as opposed to recording video and audio and then tossing the audio. This is especially important if I want to record a long meeting.  thanks,
