Sending reminder emails

I feel like this is something that I am just missing because I swear it used to happen automatically. How do I get Zoom to send a meeting reminder to my participants?

I am using zoom on my iPhone with the app. I attend a particular meeting where the leader has us introduce ourselves. He tells us he has synced our view with his so everyone knows when it is their turn. It seems to work great except my window is still floating around so I don’t know when it is my turn but apparently everyone sees me in a fixed place. Why is my window not aligning like everyone else??? It is embarrassing because I always have to be told it is my turn after an uncomfortable pause.

I am using:

Mac Mini M1

MACOS 13.1.1 Ventura

Zoom 5.14.2

MOTU M2

Rooland VR 4HD

Using this setup the Zoom app cannot detect my microphone. The microphone feeds in through a MOTU M2, but I also have a Roland VR 4HD video audio console and it, too, does not work with the microphone.

The video inputs fine through the Roland.

The MOTU is listed as a choice for input in the Zoom audio preferences, but the microphone check shows nothing and the test does not move the indicator. Same with the Roland. Neither device produces any error messages.

Audio OUTPUT, on the other hand, works just fine on the MOTU. Playing the Test Audio on the Zoom app comes through correctly on the MOTU

The Mac System Settings/Audio have specified the MOTU M2 for input and output. The Audio settings is seeing the microphone, since inputting sound to it moves the indicator in the System Settings/Audio.

So it's just the audio input that cannot be detected by the Zoom app.

I wonder if it is a bug with the Mac Mini M1. I previously used a Mac Mini Intel with all this hardware with no problems.

I have uninstalled and redownloaded and reinstalled the Zoom app. I have tried with and without the optional MOTU M2 Mac driver.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Zoom Requesting for to join another user's "room" when they aren't the host

Hello,

My coworker ran into an issue this morning where she clicked on the link for her normal re-occurring meeting that she hosts, but when the link opened her and all the other people who were to join that meeting were met with a screen that said they were waiting for permission to enter another user's "room". This other user doesn't have a "room" license, and when I went into the user management center, I didn't see the other user connected to these meetings at all. This user wasn't in the office today, so we had to quickly create another meeting and send that link out.

Does anyone understand how something like this may have happened, or anywhere to check to see where something might be configured wrong?

Obrigado.

Hello,

Recently, when I join a zoom meeting with my wired headset, the microphone will cut out shortly (3-5minutes) into the meeting and no one can hear me. I then have to call into the meeting.

I tried joining the meeting using my laptop microphone to test, and that did not fade away.

I do not experience the same issue in Microsoft Teams.

Using the latest version of Zoom. No errors show up. Windows says the only app using my microphone is Zoom when the fade away happens.

Any thoughts?

Resolved! Video disabled only for person speaking when in gallery view

When in gallery view during a meeting, the video is disabled for the person speaking (only when the person is speaking). Other participants' videos work fine when they are not speaking. Has anyone experienced this, and, if so, how did you fix it?

Failed To Detect Your Microphone And Speaker Every Time I Join A Meeting

Every time I join or create a meeting and select "Join with Computer Audio", I get a message saying "Failed to detect your microphone and speaker. Please make sure your devices are properly connected." Then, I select "Check my Audio Devices", then "Test Speaker", wait a moment, then "Test Mic" (which I always have to click at least twice for some reason), wait again, and then it works. This happens 100% of the time. This would be somewhat manageable by joining meetings early, except when joining a meeting I have to be let into the meeting first, and then the whole process takes a full one to two minutes before the host can hear me, which makes for an awkward and unprofessional start to every meeting hosted on Zoom. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Zoom multiple times over the last few months, most recently today, and the issue always persists. I don't have this issue with any other video conferencing applications. I am using Windows 10.

If anyone else experienced this issue and found a fix or workaround, please let me know.

Zoom team, please could you make it so that whatever checks Zoom does when I click "Test Speaker" and "Test Mic" it also does automatically as soon as it fails to detect the mic and speaker, so that I can join audio much more quickly?

Thank you!

Have been having issues with our PowerPoint presentations.  Does anyone know if having the Zoom live streamed on FaceBook affect band width which interrupts signals that affect how the laptop with the presentation operates.  I am not a technical person.  So please be as simple as you can be with your explanations.  Thank you in advance for your assistance.
