I have a new laptop that I recently installed Zoom on. I just had 2 meetings with my professor that she hosted. I recorded both meetings (hit Record, she gave permission), but I received no message about converting my recording. When I go to my Documents\Zoom folder I can see previous recordings in OneDrive from my old laptop. But there is nothing from my new laptop. I also confirmed my file location in Settings - C:\Users\...\OneDrive\Documents\Zoom What happened to my recordings?

While flying, I am unable to utilize my computer due to an incessant zoom pop up that keeps telling me "Unable to establish secure connection to zoom" due to wifi restrictions and airplane mode. Does anyone know how to disable this pop up? If I close it, it opens up immediately.

Hi. This is long. I'm having a problem with my camera and speaker when on group calls. When I join a meeting and test the camera and speaker everything works, but when I'm admitted into the meeting from the waiting room I'm muted and my profile screen is black with just my name. The camera and speaker icons have the red lines through them and when I hover over them to unmute and turn on the camera they illuminate but nothing clicks and nothing happens. Once the facilitator splits the group into breakout rooms the speaker and camera both start working. After the first unsuccessful meeting I asked the hosts (the next day) to admit me early to the meeting to check if it worked, which it did. Then they put me back in the waiting room and when the meeting officially started and the host re-admitted me to the meeting with everyone else, the problem was back. I have no problems muting and unmuting and turning the camera on and off when I'm on a zoom call with one other person. I'm working on a PC laptop. I've already uninstalled and reinstalled zoom. I have a third meeting today with the same group and i'm desperate to resolve this. Thanks in advance for your help.

The latest linux mint client update crashes immediately. The previous version still works fine. I can't seem to send the end of the log without it getting marked as spam, so I'll try adding it as a reply (I see no way to attach a file here)... nope, still won't take it. How do I show the stderr log file here? It ends with:

When sharing my screen, I can't see my host. She can see me. Is there a way for me to see her as well? I just see the full screen. My presentation is a Google Slides presentation, and I'm joining the meeting on a Chromebook. Thanks for your help, Peggy

latest Jan 24 update for linux mint crashes continuously. older dec 2023 version still works. It brings up the zoom panel but says zoom has crashed, please send a report, but it crashes and terminates before I get a chance to send the report. I am running mint Tina 19 version (cant update because of other legacy software). I tried the web version, but this just calls the same crashing app. I looked at the stderr log and see this at the end of the log: hmmm cant find any way to attach this.

Is it because of the avatars update
Using Ubuntu Zoom 17 client, I got a 5003 error.
Using another lapto with Ubuntu Zoom 15, no problem.
I'd like to downgrade the v 17 to 15 to see if it is OK on my OS. Where to download the client 5.15.11 deb (64) ?
Thanks
Hi Zoom Community, Looking for advice how to join multiple different meetings simultaneously. I am a Licensed user. As to the level, I am not sure since the plan is hosted through my university. (If there is a way to determine this, please also comment how to do this!) I went to my Meeting Settings and turned on the "Join different meetings simultaneously on desktop". I know it is turned on because the toggle is blue. I closed the Zoom application completely and refreshed my desktop. When I opened Zoom up again, I could join one meeting using the url https://zoom.us/join and entering the meeting ID. However, when I went to join my second meeting, Zoom gave me this notification "Join new meeting? You will have to leave this meeting to join the new meeting."" The options to close this notification "Leave & Join" or "Cancel". By the way, I am not the host for either of these meetings. Any suggestions are welcome!
