I don't know where I changed it, but zoom used to include a number you can call to join the meeting along with the meeting code. For those who don't have access to a computer or smartphone (which requires internet access which some people in my area don't have). When I join other meetings other people host, they will send an invitation that shows a number you can call. I can't find a number for zoom to talk to someone. (I did before and the person who I talked to said that regular phones can't call into zoom meetings when I can if someone else hosts.....).

Hello,

I recently recorded a 3 hour zoom meeting to my local PC, and the recording converted normally.

When I check the converted file, it's only 30 minutes long... it turns out that the first 8 minutes of the meeting were recorded normally, and the remainder duration was compressed and sped up very, very fast, to result in such a short recording.

I have looked at older discussions reporting a similar issue, but there doesn't seem to be a fix. I also tried the "Double click" to convert it a second time, but it again produced a 30 minute recording with the same issue, which leads me to believe the file was corrupted.

Is there a way to prevent this from happening again? Thank you for any insight.

When I do a PowerPoint presentation in Windows 10 I increased the size of the mouse pointer and the color to a vivid red.  When I then share the presentation under zoom, the color remains but the cursor on the screen reverts back to original size.  How can I fix this?  There doesn't seem to be anything within zoom.  Is there something I should do under windows mouse settings?

How can the auto-framing feature be turned off on the Android app?

It tracks one's face around the screen to keep it centered.

It turns off when I use a background image, but not without one. I would like it off at all times.

I have the latest version of Zoom (6.5.12.33008) running on the latest software of the OnePlus Pad tablet (Android 15).

Resolved! My voice and music won't work at the same time

Hi, my audio works fine if I'm only speaking or only playing music, but I can't get them to work at the same time. Has anyone else had this problem and figured out how to resolve it? Thanks

But when I try to type in the chat box, I get a message, "Chat disabled." But clearly the chat is not disabled for everyone, only for me. This only started happening a couple of weeks ago. I can't find any setting to change this. What is going on?

We were running Zoom Video meetings and a few of our participants would use the Zoom Dial in number to access via phone because they did not have access to video.  When they would dial in they would be asked for 1) Zoom Meeting ID# 2) Participant ID 3) the meeting passcode.

This feature worked seamlessly for our phone participants for over a year. Recently this all came to an end. Now when they dial in they enter the meeting ID (Which has not changed) and receive this message..."This Meeting Does Not Allow Phone Dial In" and then the line disconnects.

Nothing has changed on the admin side. All settings have been the same for over a year.

Any suggestions on what may have changed to cause this?

So the latest Zoom update to the meetings has the private direct messages from participants to host open in seperate tabs. Previously, all messages, irrespective of public or direct would appear on one screen in a list. However when conducting classes where only questions can be asked from the teacher directly and no public nor private chat, this is extremely annoying. Especially in classes with many students, each time a new message comes up, it's required to go to that person's tab to read it.

Is there a way to revert it to the old way, where all messages comes in one screen?

Thanks in advance

Share Screen with Sound, Do Not Want To Hear Audio On Sharing Device - Using Mac

I have a scenario where 2 laptops are in the same space, one is hosting and the other is presenting a video with audio. The hosting laptop is connected to the room system, so any audio coming from the host computer will be amplified to the room. This includes any audio that the presenting laptop screen shares.

So to avoid an echo, it would be ideal for the presenting laptop (MacBook) to screen share with sound, but not output audio to the laptop. I want the laptop to only output audio to Zoom. But the volume of the screen shared audio seems to be tied with the laptop output volume. If I mute volume output on the MacBook, the screen shared audio is muted. In the Zoom meeting if I "Leave Computer Audio" the audio is still heard both through the laptop speakers and the screen share.

What I really need in Zoom is a "Select a speaker: None" option. The fix right now is to plug in headphones.

Is there a way to screen share with audio but not output audio to the computer (specifically a Mac)? Thanks!

Hello everyone,

Is it possible to recover meetings, clicking on the respective links that have expired?

I remember having converted a zoom meeting to an .mp4 archive, two years ago.  That conversion was before its expiry date and so I managed to have it at my disposal, even now, having saved it in the 'Downloads' section of my computer.

In the case I am describing now, the expiry date is over and, moreover, I don't remember exactly how I did that conversion, the only thing I remember is that I pressed the 'download' button at the archive and it was saved in the 'downloads' section as an .mp4.

Now this 'trick' doesn't work anymore.

If there is some other solution, I would be glad to know.

Thank you
