Since the last update, now when I create zoom meetings and copy the invitation to the meetings it no longer provides the meeting time and date like it used to. It now omits the name of the meeting and time, and just shows zoom link and meeting ID basically. Can anyone advise?

I recently signed up for Zoom, thank God I didn't pay for a full year (yet). Had a first meeting on Zoom with 2 massive issues:

1. I could not record the meeting

2. the transcript didn't work either

Despite signing in as Host, Zoom didn't recognise me as Host on screen and thus prevented me from recording and getting a transcript. VERY handy when you agreed to send the recording to your client.... Had to revert to Quicktime.

Already reported the issue last week but haven't heard anything. Looking for alternatives to Zoom...

How do I get Zoom to recognise me as Host on screen and allow me to record and to get a transcript?

When I call Zoom to speak with technical support, I have to give my ID meeting number and my six digit passcode. Zoom says my passcode is invalid, however, the code is in my profile information. Why do they say it is invalid? How can I actually talk with Zoom technical support?

We have an AA meeting that is listed on the international site - we get people attending from all over.  We screen people as soon as they come on - they have to show their face and tell us their name and its been pretty chill until today.  Some person managed to get on and disable all the security settings.  They typed the N word about 1,000 times in the chat, even though chat was disabled.  They posted a gross video and it jumped from one person to another, so fast we couldn't even keep up with it.  In a vain attempt to kick them off we ended up kicking off several people who were just being hijacked by the bomber.  Even though all microphones were muted with the setting that no one can unmute themselves without being asked to, this person wasn't muted.  

We can't make our meeting invitation only, it's open to the public, that's the very spirit of an AA meeting.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you for your response. It would be extremely helpful if the host/co-host could screen people (at least make them turn on their camera and introduce themselves) IN THE WAITING ROOM before actually admitting them to the meeting. We have a WOMEN'S AA meeting daily. Almost every day bombers use a woman's name with camera off to get admitted into the meeting. Once they are in they turn their camera on and say & do terrible things for all to see and hear. If we could catch them in the waiting room it would be SO much better!! We do not want to make the meeting private because we want to help alcoholics who need a meeting. Screening in the waiting room would be a beneficial addition to the zoom platform.
