When I join a meeting that I was invited to it states "Recording in progress". Am I the one starting the recording? If so how do I turn it off? It will state the "recording in progress" no matter when I join. In my last meeting the host stated they thought it was me that was recording.

How create transcript from a recording

I have a cloud recording of a presentation in Zoom. Can Zoom create a transcript of the audio? I did not turn on transcription before the presentation.

Overlapped Scheduled Meetings

Today I had a meeting that was interrupted. I found 4 other meetings scheduled and overlapping with mine.  Anyone have this problem and how do I prevent it?

Resolved! Unable to See "Record" Button on Zoom App

 

I can't see the "Record" button. I still have "Record on Computer" enabled in Settings.

What could be the problem?

 

Device: MacBook Pro (MacOS 15.6.1 (24G90))

App: Zoom Workplace app version: 6.5.12 (63499)

Zoom Version: Free

Resolved! zoom 6.6.0 on ubuntu 22.04 does not open meeting window

I installed zoom 6.60 on ubuntu 22.04 LTS. This was not able to open a meeting window when joining to a meeting. After uninstalling zoom, installing zoom version 6.1.11 and upgrading to zoom 6.6.0 it worked. What is the reason and what can i do to ma... Show more

After uninstalling zoom, installing zoom version 6.1.11
and upgrading to zoom 6.6.0 it worked.
What is the reason and what can i do to make zoom 6.6.0 work directly?

I am having troubles to join a meeting on Ubuntu with a version larger than 6.3.11 (7212).

The connection to the meeting works fine, but after following the link or enter meeting ID and passcode nothing happens. Nothing in the logs, no hidden window or process.

 

It was a bit tricky, but I managed to install download and install 6.3.11 (7212). Version 6.3.0 is currently the minimum required version.

Setup:

 

- Dell Latitude E5550 (Intel Core i5-5300U)

- kernel 6.14.0-33-generic #33~24.04.1-Ubuntu

- KDE plasma 6

- xdg-desktop-portal-kde installed and found

- libpipewire 1.2.6 running and working

- Graphic Card used: Intel HD Graphics 5500 (rev 09)

- x86_64 architecture

 

I tried, with always same result

- deleting the zoom config ~/.zoom

- using wayland or x11 

- use gnome instead of plasma

- update system

- use linux mint from USB and install zoom 6.6.0 (4410) same error

- using QT_QUICK_BACKEND=software

 

What happend between 6.3.11 (7212) and 6.4.0 (471) that breaks joing a meeting?

Ich habe keinen Zugriff mehr auf mein E-Mail Konto und kann deshalb nicht mehr auf Zoom zugreifen

Ich habe einen lizenzierten Account mit 

 

Wenn ich versuche den Support anzurufen, wollen die Informationen von mir die ich nicht habe, weil ich keinen Zugriff auf den Account habe. 

 

Was kann ich tun? Ich brauche die Videos von meinem Account und bezahle auch für die Lizenz. 
Entweder ich kriege Zugriff (aber wie?) oder ich will den Account löschen. 


Was kann ich tun, damit meine E-Mail Adresse geändert und ich den Verifizierungscode erhalten kann? Ohne in den Account reinzukommen? Wie kann ich Zoom telefonisch erreichen?

Cloud Recordings have been processing since the AWS outage

Since the AWS outage on Monday the cloud zoom recordings I made on the day of the outage have not been downloadable. They just say "Processing". But they have been processing now for almost two days. Are these recordings lost? Or will they be process... Show more
