I'm at my wits end.  I've uninstalled, reinstalled the desktop client.  I've tried with two different accounts.  No matter what the remote control button is not showing up in my zoom sessions.  I've gone to the screen share setting and enabled it, I've gone to the web settings and in In Meeting (basic) I've enabled remote control.  I've tried using the hot key even though I don't see the button.

 

Nothing.  It's not anywhere.  Others seem to have this problem.  How do I get it?

Is Zoom Customer support the WORST!! on the Entire Internet??

I have never encountered a company that has such a lack of respect and support for its customers. Zoom seems only interested in taking money and not listening to its customers at all. A Disgrace given its industry position,

Participant limit

We have a Business account with a limit of 300 meeting participants. Is there an inexpensive way to boost this limit for one meeting?

Audio breaks up in meetings

I have recently bought a new laptop for work, which I use exclusively for Zoom calls. The following problem had never occured before now. The new laptop is an Acer Extensa 215-55 with Windows 11 Pro. 

 

As soon as I start any meeting in Zoom on this laptop (even if I am alone and silent), any videos/audio recordings I play on the computer get audio distortions. Specifically, when I start the trek, the sound gets choppy, voices come through okay, but any additional sound in the background of the trek, such as laughter, clapping, etc. becomes barely audible, any music in the trek becomes completely inaudible. If I share the screen with the other people in the meeting, they can hear the same quality of audio I do, so barely anything. I need people on the other side of the call to hear these recordings in good quality, music and added sounds included, not to mention I need to hear it myself just as well. Some people I have calls with also don't speak very loudly, so in their case Zoom does not pick up their voices at all at times, which is an even bigger problem, as I can't hear them now.

 

This does not happen on any other call programme.

 

I have: 

- updated Zoom to the latest version;

- in Zoom settings put on 'original audio for music performers' (I also turn it on in every meeting after that);

- in advanced Zoom settings switched off any Windows sound correction;

- checked that my sound drivers are on the latest version as well. 

 

None of this has helped to improve the situation even slightly. 

At this point I feel like I have tried all the settings I could find in the system. 

I cannot use another programme, as my workplace uses Zoom for meetings exclusively. 

This is greately interfering with my work. 

 

On a side note: my old laptop was a Windows 10, and never had anything like this happen. However, I asked a colleague at work to reproduce this on their Windows 11 laptop, and they had no problems with audio like I do.

I would appreciate a concrete solution.

Resolved! Windows 11 Blue Screen Crashes

I am running WIndows 11 Home on a x64 Dell XPS 13 laptop.  Latest versions of Windows (10.0.2263) and Zoom (5.16.10 - 26186) installed.

 

Every time Zoom accesses my camera, the light comes on and then WIndows 11 gives me a blue screen error (BSOD).. This occurs when I try to access Video settings, Background setting, click an invitation to a meeting, or enter meeting specifics manually.

 

At this point, it is impossible for me to use Zoom (I have already had to replace my motherboard due to this)

 

Any suggestions?

Hi, I'm using WIX to launch the MVP and test my service.

My staff is made by 7 users who will use ZOOM Meeting (throught WIX) with their clients who will book an appointment through my website (WIX). 

They need more than 40minutes call. Do they have to upgrade their base Zoom subscription or can I upgrade the default ZOOM Meeting account on WIX and consequently the staff can benefit of my upgrade?

Any solution?

Display name won't change back

Help! My step daughter used my computer for a zoom and changed the display name to her name. It will not change back in meetings to my name, even though it is my name in my profile. 

 

I have tried deleting cookies and/or browser history on both Chrome and Safari.

 

It is fine on my iPad zoom, but will not go back on my MacBook. 

 

Any ideas?

I use Zoom to teach Seated Tai Chi and one of my attendees uses an iPad to take the class. The recent update has moved the tool bar to the bottom of their screen and this is blocking their view of my legs. 

 

Is there a way to hide the toolbar on an iPad, please?

I have a paid Zoom pro account. I recently got new computer with Windows 11. When i try to start a new meeting I get an error to "go to Microsoft store" to get an app to use for meetings (See attached).  I tried this and no apps for this? I then download another Workplace app from the zoom website and can get in but all my settings, backgrounds, etc are missing. The Workplace app does not stick for future meetings. I have to do this each time start a new meeting!!Does anyone have a solution to fix this? Thank you in advance! Carl Lucchi
