I am a host for a meeting for a non-profit organization.   They have a Zoom Pro license.  The meeting is scheduled weekly.  I join as guest, then "claim host".  In the last meeting, there was no option for "claim host".  I also noticed that the security shield on the bottom was missing. 

 

This is a major concern as we have had Zoom bombings in the past.  I reported this as a bug to the administrator of the Zoom license and asked if he could check the settings.  On my personal Zoom Pro account, this has never happened, and I could find no place in the settings to "turn off" or "suppress" security, so I am thinking this is a bug.  Any thoughts?

I have a monthly meeting via Zoom. My friends have a full Zoom account. They send me an invitation. Every month I click on the (ongoing) invitation.

When I get to this "Launch Meeting" page, I click on the "Launch Meeting" button. Nothing happens. I tried this numerous times. Nothing happens. 



I now have Zoom Workplace and so I sent my friends an invite. I could not launch that either. I tried my friends' invite again and nothing happened until I clicked on the "Having Issues with the Zoom Workplace app? Join from your Browser"  This finally allowed me to connect.

Is this a new thing now? Should I just automatically click on the "Having Issues" button?

Hello everyone. Today, I have faced an issue connecting the business Facebook Page to live steam. 


So, I searched how to go live with a Facebook over ZOOM. Found info, created a webinar and pressed "Live on Facebook". But it provides me only to live stream on my personal page, not for a business page that I managing.  I decided to create a Custome Live Steam, but FB key is not working at all for ZOOM and shows me "Invalid error" 


Please help me figure out what is going on?

Speaker placement when sharing screen

In the share screen options it shows one where the speaker's background is removed and its at the bottom left hand corner of the screen. I selected this, but then looked at the recording and the speaker was in the upper right hand corner with a random white background. How can I get it to record the speaker with no background at all like it shows in the preview on the share screen options?

For more than three years I have received no-reply notifications on a weekly basis from the Gilder-Lehrman Institute in NYC inviting me to register for their Sunday afternoon "Book Breaks" programs.

 

For some reason, I stopped receiving them in mid-June.

 

I checked with the institute, and the "Book Breaks" program is still being broadcast via Zoom each Sunday.

 

Can you reinstate me so I receive the notifications, so I can register to participate?

Mic always OFF when Connecting from Cell

All:  On my cell, everything works just fine!!!!  EXCEPT, I can't SPEAK during a meeting, because the "slash" can NOT be removed from the mic for speaking.  It's always off!  Can't remove the "slash".

Retrieving Cloud Recordings on an expired account

For about a year now, when I try to attend  a meeting that supposedly requires no passcode, I can't get in without one, although most (but not all, I think) other participants can.  I'm unable to enter either through the browser or within my desktop version of zoom. Sometimes I am lucky and the host will email me a passcode but often I can't reach the person. This just happened again this morning. Is there something I can do to my computer or (free) Zoom account to change it so I can enter just like everyone else? Thank you!
