My HyperX Cloud Flight headset no long plays audio in Zoom.  It used to work fine, but now no audio plays when the headset is selected as the speaker.  It was working during a meeting when my cat walked across my keyboard and audio stopped.  Desktop speaker works for Zoom, but not the headset.  Headset works without issue with other programs such as Discord.

I was conducting a cloud recording as a Zoom co-host. Due to a connection issue, I got disconnected from Zoom, and when I rejoined, I lost my co-host privileges. Nevertheless, the recording indicator was still on, and since there was no cloud icon, it seems that it was recording locally. I immediately requested and regained the co-host privileges, and the cloud icon appeared again. The recording from the period when I did not have co-host privileges is not visible on my computer or Zoom account. How can I access it?

Video Panel disappears randomly while screen sharing

I am on Mac Mini 2023 with two monitors. On occasion, the video panel with the participants just disappears when I screen share, which is very frustrating. I have "use dual monitors" selected. This happens randomly without obvious reason.

 

For example, today I was in a Zoom session, and everything worked fine - could see the video panel while screensharing. I disconnected and reconnected to the same Zoom session, but when I screen shared, the video panel disappeared. Clicking on "show video panel" button did not do anything. I tried stopping and restarting screen share several times but did not fix it. I tried searching around different desktops but could not find the video panel. The only way I fixed this was to quit and restart Zoom and rejoin the meeting - fortunately this worked. Any ideas how to fix this?

Does changing owner effect scheduled meetings?

I was the owner with my email and the license showed up with my email/profile.

The person was coming on board as owner had added himself and he was a basic member.

I went in and switched him to the owner and the licensed user.

It still shows me as an admin for some reason with type: basic.

Tonight a meeting I created that was a recurring event, gave a 40 min warning.

We have a paid account. 

How can i fix the meetings to not give the 40 minute warning now? I dont want to have to recreate them because it will change the zoom id.

I recently got a new iPad Air 13-inch (M2) with iOS version 17.5.1. Ever since getting it, I have not been able to share my screen with participants successfully. Whenever I try to show what I am doing on my browser, they can only see the Home Screen on my iPad and sometimes a page from the website that I am not currently on. If I am sharing a page from the Kindle app, they may see a previous page that I visited but am not currently on. I tried deleting zoom and redownloading to make sure I have the current update, but it hasn’t gotten better. There’s no issue with anyone sharing their screen with me, and I have been able to share the whiteboard with participants. If someone could lead me in the right direction that would be great. I use zoom for teaching. TIA!

iPhone zoom app puts me in waiting room with no video on zoom podcasts. I can hear, not see podcast

I reinstalled the Zoom app on my iPhone 15 max pro again today.  I still get put into the waiting room when I first join the zoom.  The host cannot see me there.  I can hear the podcast but can't see it.  I follow the dial in number and meeting id to join the call;  I don't have a login link.  I can join the call including video when I view it on my computer.  How can i be added to the full podcast and not the waiting room on the phone app?

iPad hosting & giving remote control

I want to purchase a new iPad to use primarily for my frequent Zoom meetings. If I am hosting a Zoom meeting and have shared my screen, can I give Remote Control access for the screen?

 

The Zoom help seemed to make it sound that you cannot ask for or accept remote control if you JOIN a meeting with an iPad, but what if you HOST from an iPad? Can anyone confirm that I can indeed use an iPad to host, screen share and assign remote control?

STudents cannot join my regular meeting sessions via Zoom

This morning for the first time my students cannot use their passcode that they normally use to join my sessions. They do not even show up in the participant screen at all. On their end it shows that I am already in a meeting. I have more kids soon..... Show more

This morning for the first time my students cannot use their passcode that they normally use to join my sessions.  They do not even show up in the participant screen at all.  On their end it shows that I am already in a meeting.  I have more kids soon...anyone have some ideas?  Thanks!

We have a regular passcode our students have been using to join meetings. Starting last week, which seemed to coincide this latest Zoom update, our students are struggling with the passcode.

They are entering it correctly, but it is not allowing SOME of them into the meeting. They are using the correct case. A few of them WERE able to get it after trying the passcode multiple times, while others missed the meeting entirely because it would not work for them. 

Any clues about what could be going on here, and how to alleviate this? It's a quite problematic to have students unable to join a regular call.

On my old laptop (hp, Windows 10), I used to be able to use the filter & avatar option with a pro account. I ended my subscription for about a year and then re-signed up for it recently. Now I'm running it on my Ryzen 5, and I do not have the filter & avatar effects anymore.

Customer support keeps saying that it's because of my region (Texas) but the thing is, my husband's account on his computer had it (same region, same internet provider). My work account also has it (same region). It's only my new computer that doesn't have it. It doesn't make sense.
