The clock on Zoom Rooms in conference rooms with Mac minis consistently falls behind by as much as 50 seconds. I flagged this to Zoom support, and three tickets later, I was told it wasn't an issue and to submit a feature request on this community board. 

I don't see a section for feature requests, as the link I was given did not work (access issue).

This has affected multiple rooms, and it seems like a baseline level of functionality rather than some unreasonable expectation. 

I've observed this on Apple silicon on various versions of Zoom Rooms.

If anyone else has this issue, please comment. It would be greatly appreciated if someone from Zoom was interested in assisting.

I just scheduled Board meetings for the coming year as a recurring meeting, however, I cannot REVIEW my work, nor can i see if there are any conflicts, nor can I change one future date to another day due to a holiday. I spent an enormous amount of time and energy trying to make the "date range" show more than a few months - the pop up doesn't suggest that the time frame is limited.  And when i tried the chat bot - no success.  and when i tried to call Support, i get the requirement to give account and host numbers (which i found) only to be informed that my paid account doesn't cover support.  What bull***.

 

This is really annoying.  Multiple people schedule meetings - not to be able to see conflicts is absurd.

Caption Size on iPad

We use closed captions in our Zoom meetings and some of our participants have diminished hearing. On Apple iPads, the caption font size is very small and almost impossible for our older participants to read. How can we increase the font size for iPad... Show more

require dictionary check for passwords

AppOmni says that we should "require dictionary check" in our Zoom password settings. However, I don't see this setting anywhere in Account Settings --> Advanced – Security --> Authentication. AppOmni Support told me they don't know what it means eit... Show more

AppOmni says that we should "require dictionary check" in our Zoom password settings.  However, I don't see this setting anywhere in Account Settings --> Advanced – Security --> Authentication.  AppOmni Support told me they don't know what it means either and would escalate to their engineering department.  That was over 40 days ago.  Does anyone know what they might be referring to?

Recording replays are starting when clicking on the recording link while the passcode is required

I have the "password is required" setting turned on and locked on the account level. My audio recordings are starting when the link to the recording is clicked - there is no prompt to enter the passcode. I am on Chrome. Tried both web and the desktop app. I tired turning on "passcode required" on the User level and admin level. Updated to the latest version of the app. What else do I need to do?

Sony a7RV as a webcam suddenly lost video

We had a meeting that had to be canceled due to the video freezing right before the start of the meeting. I have had this setup for the last two years with no issues. 

 

I have a Sony a7R V using a USB-C to USB-A cable through a hub with USB-C into my Dell XPS PC. The camera is less than two years old and has a fully charged battery.

 

To troubleshoot, I made sure Zoom and Sony software were updated. I uninstalled the Sony Imaging Edge software from their site and re-installed Zoom. 

 

I also tried different USB-C cables, including USB-C to USB-C. I tried different ports on the PC and ensured my Win11 PC was updated.

 

After trying different settings, when the "USB Connect Mode" comes up on my camera and I select "Remote Shoot," as I've always done, Zoom will only show the Sony Imaging Edge screen and will not display the video output.

 

I tried the "Live Stream USB" option as a workaround, which immediately works with the 720p/30. So if I get a faster USB 3.2 cable, which I haven't tried, that should work to get the 1080p/30, which we need to display software screens to our clients.

 

I'm not sure why my Sony and Zoom is not working suddenly. "ILCE-7RM5" comes up other than the "Sony Camera (Imaging Edge)" when I select the "Live Stream USB" option, so I'll use that for now as the 720p/30 seems to work consistently.
