I begin by apologizing for using the "Meetings" location for this post because the issue I wish to raise does not fit neatly into any of the listed Locations. Specifically, even though I have a meeting ID and passcode for a tw-day meeting later in 2025, I cannot find reference to that meeting on either my zoom app or in my Zoom schedule on the Zoom web site. Why and how can this be resolved/avoided?

1000's of comments in a minuets time.
we need an option to mass delete comments by selecting a person in the chat.
blocking and booting them out obviously didn't get rid of the 1000 chats sent.
Hi Iwant other facilitators to log in with email and our account password. Every time someone else does it I am sent a code for them to activate the meeting. How do I stop this so that they can log in using our account email and password as administrator and I don' t have to get a code which I send to them. Its causing alot of grief

I am a foreign language teacher and my students are all adults. I do not care to check whether they are on-task (they are), or who is talking/listening/participating (they all do). I need to hear what words they are using, in what order, and how they are pronouncing those words! Right now, Zoom has improved breakout rooms with the enhanced breakout room app, but it is geared more toward ensuring that students are doing what they are supposed to, and giving them new info while they are in the different rooms. The teacher can not hear the students talk. The explanation given for this is that "it would be too confusing if you could hear everyone at once." Wouldn't it be possible to have a "mute" button for each room? Could I not, as a teacher, mute and unmute the breakout rooms so I could focus on what is being said in each one? At the moment, the only option I have is to go into each breakout room and let them know I'm there. The students, who are focused on holding their conversation or reading dialogues aloud, experience my arrival as if I came clomping into the room with my army boots on, announcing in a loud voice "Hi everyone! I'm here listening!" They have said they wish I could just listen to them and only say something if they need correction. I wish that, too.

Hello, I had been using Zoom to record meetings to the cloud. During one month, I canceled my subscription and lost access to my cloud recordings. After renewing my subscription a month later, I hoped to regain access to those recordings and download them. However, it seems that they are no longer available. Is there any way to recover them?

if i cancel my current zoom cloud storage subscription will all my past meeting recordings get deleted? i'm not currently using zoom...but i'm paying $40/month for 200gb of cloud storage. i'll likely be using zoom again for work in 4-5 months so was just curious if my recordings would still be there when i resubscribe to the $40/month plan.

I recorded a meeting to the cloud with captioning on but the software only generated the video and the audio files -- the text transcript was not created!
what happened?
is there any way to extract the captions from the video file?
I have an ASUS VivoBook with a Logi C270 HD WebCam. Sometimes when I try to join a meeting, the WebCam works fine. At other times, the Zoom page just goes into an endless loop and never opens the meeting. In that case, I usually have to close all windows, unplug the camera, restart the computer, and join the meeting without camera. I've tried joining a meeting and then plugging in the camera, and that usually sets off some loop that results in my leaving the meeting. I've check the permissions and security, and it looks OK. I've tested the camera outside of Zoom, and it works OK. I've not been able to detect a pattern of when the camera works on Zoom and when it doesn't. Any suggestions?

Hi, I just completed some very important interviews and recording them to my computer (a mac). When I find the files they are 'documents' and when I double click to convert I receive this message. There is no application set to open the document “double_click_to_convert_01.zoom”. Search the App Store for an application that can open this document or choose an existing application on your computer. My computer was idle for 30 minutes in the middle of the session but I wasn't recording. I have tried to log out and restart my computer as advised by Zoom Facebook help. Any help in retrieving them would be great! Cheers Steph
