In a recent update to the Linux client whenever I'm in a Zoom meeting and the meeting window is in focus and I switch to another virtual desktop the meeting window is minimized to a small window in the upper right and follows me to the new virtual desktop. How can I stop this?

Polls

Hi there, 

 

For over a week, I cannot access Zoom polls. I cannot create a new one or edit the existent one - anyone else experienced the same issues? What is best way to notify Zoom?

OS: Manjaro Linux

Kernel: 6.1.77-2-MANJARO
Client: 5.17.11-1

CPU: Intel Core i7-2670QM

GPU: NVIDIA GF116M [GeForce GT 560M]

 

Issue: Unable to select a virtual background

 

Behavior: When I go into Settings > Virtual Background, I'm able to click on the default images and the reticle surrounds the clicked image, indicating it has been selected.  However, my video background does not change, and when I navigate away from the Virtual Background page and then back, the reticle is once again on the "None" entry.  I am able to add new images to the Virtual Background selection list but the behavior is as described above.

 

Tried fixes: selected each background, added a new background and selected it, logged out and back in, closed app and deleted ~/.zoom and logged in again

Unable to see scheduled meetings into 2025 and unable to enter a date range beyond Jan. 1 2025

I need to be able to see all the meetings I've scheduled and the date range tool is not allowing me to go beyond Jan. 1 2025. Any advice?

I was wondering if there is a way to use polls in a meeting I scheduled. I asked the chatbot but didn't get a good answer. It said to open the More tab while I was hosting a meeting and click Polls, but I didn't see anything like that. Can I use them... Show more

My caller could see my background and my face. I could only see his background - not his face.

Not sure why both of our videos were on, but I could not see his face, only his background.  Is the problem on his computer, or mine.  We both could see my background and face.

Previously used background does not load

Have not used Zoom for approximately 6 months. OS recently upgraded to sequoia 15.1.1 Previously available backgrounds no longer appear. Are they no longer available with free account? Have gone into settings and it seems to work if I want to upgrade... Show more

Galaxy Buds 3 Pro hang the Audio system Speakers and Mic

I am on zoom meetings often, and as such have two pair of Bluetooth ear buds that connect to my laptop. I had a third, but they died and was replaced by the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. When I use my other ear buds, they simply connect, the microphone and speakers automatically select the right selection and I can hear and talk through my earbuds. When I change to the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, everything hangs. The minute I take my Galaxy ear buds and put them back in the case, everything un-hangs. I tried turning of Spatial Sounds from another post..no help.

 

Any suggestions? They seem really nice, but I need them to work!!

Zoom timer app showing black screen

The Zoom timer app is not loading after a meeting has started. When I click on the app and select the timer option, I see a black screen. I am using a MacBook Pro. I am able to launch the app outside of the meeting window, but it doesn't work properly within the meeting.

Could you please provide guidance on how to resolve this issue?

I have seen another thread on this that has not been solved. https://community.zoom.com/t5/Meetings/My-timer-is-no-longer-showing/m-p/136217 start from the bottom up
