Viewing Scheduled Meetings - Selected Time Range - Only Adjusts One Date, Not Both

@Anonymous  What's New with Zoom Events | January 2024 Today I went to schedule a few new meetings. I went to confirm them in my Meetings list.  However, only the first one would appear.  There was a "new feature" that will only show you your scheduled meetings within a "Selected Time Frame".  You are required to amend the "Selected Time Frame" in order to view your scheduled meetings.

So, I clicked on the screen to change the "Selected Time Frame".  However, Zoom changes whatever date you choose for *both* dates, not one, then it will only show you the scheduled meetings for that *one* individual date.  The AI Bot in the chat box had no answers.  I'm guessing someone else has experienced this and/or has a workable solution.  Primarily, how does one change the dates within the Selected Time Frame so you only have one date change at a time (instead of both changing to the selected date)?

Here are my secondary questions:

1.  Why was this feature mandatory?   It seems that if someone wanted to *choose* it, that it could be an added feature like "Whiteboards" or "Notes".  But now, in order to schedule a meeting and confirm that it is there, I have to change the "Selected Time Frame" for every new meeting schedued.  By default it is showing one month as the "Selected Time Frame" for viewing.

2.  Is this a system glitch, or is there some Zoom-specific way that it must be selected? I clicked the box, and it showed the calendar.  I can amend the date, but then it shows *both* dates for whatever date I chose, not the beginning or end date only.  When I go then to choose the second date, it converts the first date to that date as well. Either way, both dates end up being the same.

3.  Once this is resolved to change a date, will this be required every time a meeting is scheduled?  Or can I set a new default for my scheduled meeting to always show me the full date range?  I schedule meetings generally six months in-advance.

I have attempted to attached some screen shots.  Hopefully, you are able to view them in order.   Zoom added some side-by-side and some vertically one under the next.

We have a conference room set up with big screen, camera, and mic/speaker on the table.

When someone wants to use this for a Zoom meeting, they connect the cables - but they also have to change Zoom's settings for camera, mic, and speaker. When they go back to their desk or on the road and want to use Zoom, they have to change Zoom's settings again.

This is a) cumbersome, and b) hard for some of our technically-challenged users to cope with.

Is there any way to switch between groups of settings? Spelunking through AppData, it appears that settings are buried in a number of database files. (I was hoping for an ini or json file)

Hi everyone,
I’m using Zoom on a Mac and had previously uploaded a custom background image. I’ve deleted the image, tried resetting my settings, uninstalled Zoom (even using Terminal and deleting library files), and reinstalled everything fresh. But the background still appears in every meeting — even though it shows as “None.” It’s like the image is permanently stuck and now labeled as “None.” Has anyone experienced this? Any tips to fully wipe the background from my account or force Zoom to refresh the virtual backgrounds?

Thanks in advance!
Sandra B1.

I have a monthly meeting that occurs on the third Thursday of the month. In want to add one additional occurrence that is on a different date. I recall that is used to be that if I went in to manage the meeting and clicked "Show all occurrences," that at the bottom of the list, there used to be a button to add a single occurrence.  I don't see that anymore - can someone advise me?

This is what I see at the end of my list of occurrences, there's no option to add another occurrence:

I've just downloaded the zoom app on my smartphone which is running stock android 10, without personalization of the manufacturer. I joined 2 meetings and in both of them I encountered this issue. The audio output of the meeting is from the internal speaker (I mean the smaller speaker on top of the phone that is being used in calls with the phone at your ear). Also, when I turn on the volume while I am in a meeting on zoom, the phone automatically picks the "call" volume, not the "media" volume. It is impossible to use the app this way because even at the highest volume the sound is too low. I feel like the sound should output from the hands-free speaker (the main speaker on the bottom of the phone) which has a lot higher volume than the internal speaker, but I haven't found any setting in the app to change the audio output. How can I solve this issue?

Hello,

I am using Zoom on my Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G).

On sharing screen, I oppend in my Cellphone an App called Youcut.
When I share the screen during a meeting using Share → Screen and enable Share device audio, the participants can see the App but cannot hear any sound.

Here are the details:

  • Android version:  Android 15

  • Zoom app version: 6.65.34303

  • I have already given microphone permissions and enabled Share sound.

  • The media volume is turned up and no Bluetooth audio device is connected.

  • The issue occurs whether I am connected via Wi-Fi or mobile data.

Could you please advise if there is any known issue with device audio sharing on Android, or a specific setting required for Samsung Galaxy devices?

Thank you,
Boaz Oren
