I have encountered an issue with participant registration for my upcoming event. Although I did not select the option to require participants to provide their last name, Zoom automatically requests this information during registration.

As the event organizer, I do not need this information, and my participants should not be obligated to provide their last name. Could you please explain why Zoom is enforcing this requirement and how I can disable or remove this field from the registration form?

Hey everyone,

I’m currently experiencing some challenges integrating my AI solutions with Zoom (Version 5.14.3), specifically when using the Zoom Video SDK for Windows (Version 1.1.0). The main issue arises during video conferencing sessions where AI-driven features like real-time transcription and virtual backgrounds cause significant lag and occasional crashes.

I’ve checked my system requirements and ensured that all my software is updated, but the issues persist. Has anyone else encountered similar problems using AI solutions with Zoom products? If so, any advice on troubleshooting or optimizing settings to improve performance would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help!

How to see what I look like before the meeting

Since I am not the host of the zoom meeting, I want to see what I look before it starts. I am very camera shy.

I created a 10 polls/quizzes for our members to use for voting purposes.  For some reason the polls/quiz results never saved, even though if I created a survey, it saves no problem.  And it also doesn't show up under polls/quizzes/surveys under account management, but it does show up under past meetings.

Also, for surveys/polls/quizzes when you see the results, you were able to see at some point how people voted.  Has this changed because I would like to also use this feature.  Thanks!

However, following a Search all prior reports of vulnerabilities have been placed within Zoom Community.

Using Zoom Meetings Client 5.16.10 (26186)
Microsoft Defender flags as vulnerable for
CVE-2023-4807 CVSS 6.2,
CVE-2023-5363 CVSS 5.9,
CVE-2023-3817 CVSS 3.7,
CVE-2023-5678 CVSS 3.7,

Install source: https://zoom.us/client/5.16.10.26186/ZoomInstallerFull.exe?archType=x64

Detected files
c:\program files\zoom\bin\libcrypto-3-zm.dll
c:\program files\zoom\bin\libssl-3-zm.dll
OpenSSL Version 3.1.1.0

Recommended course of action, upgrade to OpenSSL Version 3.1.5 or 3.2.0

Updating to 3.1.4 would still leave CVE-2023-5678
