Hello all!

I schedule meetings through the API, and under the platform I use, I have a bot which joins the meeting and records it, as well as generate transcripts and etc...

I have configured the permissions so that the host does not need to approve the recording request under my account configs, also I have allowed the guests to join before host in the API config

The problem is, the bot can't start recording unless I am logged in as the host in the meeting, even though it was configured to always allow recording. Is there a way around that?

Zoom noise suppression effect seems to be creating a "lisp" for some users

We have a couple users for whom auto noise suppression (I would guess) seems to be clipping off the fronts of their sibilant consonants and making them sound like they speak with a lisp. 

 

It's intermittent. Likely the fix is to "not use auto" gating or suppression for these users, but how to predict what mic models might be suceptible to it. Has anyone else encountered this?

 

I have noticed it in the past 1-2 months, not prior. Thanks

Hi, 

We run course throughout the year and use Zoom as part of the blended learning. As such I can create a Zoom meeting which can be a year in advanced as some of our speakers have dual role as doctors in hospitals as well as teachers for us. 

I have found that meetings I have created last year are now longer available and when I try to open the Zoom meeting it comes up with invalid meeting number. 

When I check my account the meeting is no longer there and not in deleted meetings either. 

I have checked the setting and I can't see anything that would deleted them. These meetings have not been opened or used, only created for future use. 

Can any help me sort this, as it is creating double the work when I have to recreate them and resend to all our speakers.

How to selectively delete entries from list of Meeting ID

On the Windows Zoom client I have a bunch of saved entries - some I use repeatedly; others I've used only once.  How do I remove unwanted entries.  The "Clear History" button clears the whole list.  I'm perfectly willing to Zoom stuff in the AppData\Roaming folder if that's what it takes, but I how there is a better way.

 

If there is no official way to do this deletion, is there a way to export and import the list?  I am not the host for any of these connections so I can't use Host functions to do this.

Zoom has been doing strange things tonight. Tried to post a question but was denied.

 

1) Zoom won't allow editing a question on a saved event. Tried for hours. So I deleted the question and then tried to enter the question over again. Would not even save the question. Then had to try a different computer and viola! Suddenly allowed me to edit the question. What the hell Zoom!!!!

2) Tried to post on community to get help. Website wouldn't let me but now it does. What is going on with Zoom?

3) When clicking on an emailed link to register for an event, Zoom Meetings kept starting and trying to open the event. This has happened before when logged into that account so I tried to register on my other Zoom accounts and same thing happened. What happened to the registration page? So I copied the same link into a browser and it went to the registration page. After that, clicking on the link in the email also took me to the registration page when it wouldn't do that before.

4) Tried to phone Zoom but then a computer asked me to enter account numbers from the profile page and rambling on and on about entering numbers. Doesn't Zoom want anyone to phone them or call to find out why Zoom has been doing weird stuff tonight? Zoom.us will not let me load the profile page on any of my computers or accounts. it just keeps the spinning wheel of death spinning forever.

 

With a paid account it should be possible to contact Zoom and get help. But no. Not allowed.

I have a client that has an issue with sharing her screen. When she is sharing the screen, she only selects the app, not the screen to share (she is dead set on doing this). The participants see large gray boxes where she sees the controls and if she breaks out something like chat, they will see a gray box where her chat is. So far We have tried this:

Uninstall and reinstall the zoom client

Uninstalled again using the CleanZoom utility and reinstalled the client

We have tried it with and without hardware acceleration

We have tried it with and without video optimization

We have changed the screen Capture mode to "Capture with window filtering" as suggested on these forums

We have uninstalled and reinstalled the graphics driver

We have confirmed that this does happen if she is a participant and not a host

We have confirmed that this does not happen if we use strictly the web

 

None of this helps.  Is there anything else we can do?

As of this morning, all of my Zoom meetings are now set to require users to come into a meeting room. This was not set previously and it's not set this way in my overall Zoom settings for my account. How can I correct this (without changing meetings one-by-one) and also ensure future meetings do not default this way?

 

Settings in the admin console have been changed also.

Hi all,

 

The Zoom documentation says the sharing settings for a recording should display this option: 

  • Share with all invitees: Send an email notification to all invitees with a link to the recording.

However, that option is not present for the recording I'd like to share.

Any idea why not?  What am I missing?

The numbers offered include 3 different 1800 Australian numbers - do they all work regardless of where in Australia they are calling from?  If they use a local number what do they get charged?
