I have set the setting Host and Participant Video to be off, in the personal room setting under Meeting Setting.

However, when someone join my zoom room, especially those join through the invite link, their video were turn on automatically when they join my zoom room.

 

And after that, I checked my setting again, it seems they override my setting and both video for Host and Participant are turn to "on" automatically.

 

Because I may have some new people joining my zoom room via link, and how can I keep them that their video is off when they join my zoom?

Zoom video not connecting

I have been so thankful for Zoom and helping my students and tutoring them at night from home. However, there seems to be a change in the ZOOM, maybe a weird update, but now I cannot connect with video at all. I cannot see them and they cannot see me... Show more

I have been so thankful for Zoom and helping my students and tutoring them at night from home.  However, there seems to be a change in the ZOOM, maybe a weird update, but now I cannot connect with video at all. I cannot see them and they cannot see me and it says we are both in a meeting that apparently no one can see or chat with each other.  When I start a meeting the video does not launch. It says I am in a meeting but I cannot talk or see my student and vice versa. Please HELP.  I called the support center on the website says they cannot find my profile or account!  I have one, been using it since COVID lockdown.  Please help.

CHAT - Anyway to set it so someone entering room can see previous chat to everyone????

So I only realized recently if as host I type something into the chat box and other participants enter the room AFTER I have typed in the chatbox, that the new participants cannot see it. Is there a way that I can type something into chat and anyone ... Show more

So I only realized recently if as host I type something into the chat box and other participants enter the room AFTER I have typed in the chatbox, that the new participants cannot see it.

 

Is there a way that I can type something into chat and anyone can see if whether they were in the chat room or not WHEN it was typed into the chat board??

 

I'm leaving simple instructions to follow for those participating and if there's late comers, I don't want to have to re-type or repost those instructions.

Switch option between laptop to mobile and vice versa

Earlier I had a switch option on my account where in i cud switch from my laptop to mobile and vice versa during a current meeting.. that option disappeared after i upgraded my device.. how can i restore it back

この場合、結婚式の月のみプロプランにしても、ベーシックプラン時にスケジュールしたミーティングは40分で切れてしまうのでしょうか?

それとも、自動で40分から最大の30時間まで延長されるのでしょうか?

Questo non mi era mai successo prima, spero mi possiate dare delle indicazioni su come risolvere questo grave problema

Hi all - I'm trying to join a recurring meeting that I've been involved with for years. I access zoom via Firefox. As of recently, the email I click to join sends me to a page that asks for a code. The code is sent to my inbox, and I add the code to the page, but after I enter the code, I am returned to the same page asking for a code. Do you have any idea why the codes don't work?

Recording meeting not recording on 2nd attempt

So I did a test record in a meeting to see if it was working, and checked back after transcoding. Went to do the main recording(same meeting), hit record("recording in progress" announced), and discovered after finishing it had not recorded! Did a fe... Show more

So I did a test record in a meeting to see if it was working, and checked back after transcoding. Went to do the main recording(same meeting), hit record("recording in progress" announced), and discovered after finishing it had not recorded! Did a few tests and googled it. Turns out your second attempt won't be recording! It's a ghost recording....

So now I have to gather everyone back(at my expense and their inconvenience) to re record. Can I suggest a warning or maybe disable this so you can't fall into this trap. Why have the audio "recording in progress" when it clearly ISN'T....

Not cloud subsciption btw. This shouldn't matter.. Feature or Bug? You decide...
