Since the last Zoom update I can't share the screen as I need. Let me explain, if I have two Chrome screens open (and I need to have them open) but I only want to share one, before the update I could select which one I specifically wanted to share, now the Chrome program shares and I don't know how to tell it to only share one of the screens, how can I select the specific screen of that application that I want to share so that both are not visible?

I have zoom workplace pro.

I have a Dell XPS 13 9315 and I hear people speaking fine and they hear me fine however when they share their screen and the audio from that screen the audio is scratchy, it sounds distorted, and is not clear at all.

 

The speakers are "intel Smart Sound technology for MIPI SoundWire" and the drivers are of the same name. 

 

Has anyone experienced this? Is there a solution? Does zoom even support these new intel drivers?

I am facing a very challenging problem. For the past few weeks, clients have received the message "the host in on another meeting", which is untrue. I cannot determine how  to solve this problem and have an account that does not provide phone consultation. 

 

has anyone else faced this and resolved it?

Showing non video participants in recoding of meeting

In our meetings we have non participants visible so that we see thumbnails with the name on. However the thumbnails of the non video participants do not show in the cloud recording which make it difficult to take notes from the meeting recording. Is ... Show more

In our meetings we have non participants visible so that we see thumbnails with the name on. However the thumbnails of the non video participants do not show in the cloud recording which make it difficult to take notes from the meeting recording. Is there a setting I can change to make the non video participants name thumbnails visible in the recoding please? We use the desktop app on a Mac, and keep the app updated.

Resolved! Zoom Desktop Application Will Not Launch (Windows 10)

When installed, the Zoom desktop app (v. 5.17.0) will not launch. No desktop icon appears after installing (though the app items appear in the "Apps" list and in the "Apps" control panel). When attempting to launch, no item appears in the Windows Tas... Show more

When installed, the Zoom desktop app (v. 5.17.0) will not launch. No desktop icon appears after installing (though the app items appear in the "Apps" list and in the "Apps" control panel). When attempting to launch, no item appears in the Windows Task Manager; the Windows "donut of eternal contemplation' appears for a few seconds; then it disappears. I have tried:

 

* Checking internet connection - It is fine

* Cleaning up all temporary and junk files

* Performing scans with virus, malware and spyware scanners

* Rebooting system

* Checking to make sure camera and microphone permission are set properly

* Emptying temporary file folders and performing disk cleanup

* Making sure device drivers are updated

* Launching installer as Administrator
* Uninstalling ALL antivirus and security software

* Closing all applications except the Zoom desktop installer

* Uninstalling and reinstalling the Zoom app from "Apps" control panel

* Using the Zoom Uninstaller to uninstall and then reinstalling the app

* Downloading the installer again, from the official website, and installing

* Uninstalling all Zoom components, rebooting and reinstalling

* Clearing browser cache and cookies

* Booting into "Safe Mode" and repeating the install process
* Checking system requirements - System exceeds requirements
* Checking if system has enough space to install Zoom - System exceeds requirements
* Verifying permission to install the Zoom app - I am an Admin

 

Under no circumstance or combination of circumstances above will the application launch. I saw a recent post suggesting that this was a problem with version 5.16.x, so I tried to find and download version 5.15.11, which worked for the post'er but could not find it on Zoom's site (though I did find infected versions on other, spurious websites, which I did NOT download or install).

 

I would be grateful for any suggestion that would help me get the Zoom Desktop app to launch and run. Thanks, in advance, for the time you spent reading this and for any suggestions you  might have.

 

It is truly amazing that, in the process of selecting locations and topics in order to create a post, there is no category whatever for installation and troubleshooting issues.

I am using an Android Tablet. I have the requirement to share my screen and play an video (with audio) from a website. When I share my screen, I am choosing the option to Share Audio: ON. However, I am unable to hear the audio. Video is obviously visible. To troubleshoot, I played a clip from YouTube app - I am able to hear the sound and also see the video. However, when I open YouTube on a web browser - Chorme/ Edge, I am unable to hear the audio. I have checked all the permissions for Zoom, uninstalled and reinstalled the Zoom app, etc. Nothing seem to work. Could anyone help?

Issue with Zoom Meeting Reporting

There is some issue with zoom meeting reports.

I did two meetings and there are no reports for any of that. 

I can't figure out why
