Audio transcription: does it work if the files are registered on PC ?

I register my webinars on the cloud and I don't have any pronblems with the audio transcriptions.
I have a fiend who would like to make audio transcriptions from this webinars that last 90 minutes which he downloads on his hard disk. But he doesn't find the audio transcriptions file?
I don't know how to help him so far. I wonder if there is a duration limit on the transcription or if the problem comes from the fact that he registers his files on the hard disk? I thought he might shut down his PC before the transcription was made but he says it is not the case.
Any idea or feedback welcome.

Unstable connection despite fast and stable Internet service past 4-6 weeks

For the past 4-6 weeks I have been experiencing intermittent unstable Internet connections with every Zoom meeting on paid and unpaid accounts. Over the course of an hour, video and audio freeze with an unstable connection notice 1-2 times, more over a 3-4 hour meeting. Once it completely booted me out of the meeting I was facilitating. This has caused tremendous problems during recording.

 

I am in a home office running Mac OS 12.6 on an M1 Mac Mini and Zoom 5.15.7. My Internet speed is a gigabit on Ethernet and tests out at excellent speeds when Zoom freezes and I get the unstable connection notice. Still, I've taken to putting my email client and web browser offline when running Zoom, but it has not curtailed the problem.

 

Internet use in the rest of the home on gigabit speeds is minimal to moderate, with no one else reporting Internet loss or degraded speeds/service, and the rest of my Internet services continue to work. I'm suspecting there may be some kind of problem with the Zoom client and hope Zoom will look into this.

No badges or points in Zoom Learning Center?

I have just completed a lot of courses in the Zoom learning center and haven't earned a single point or badge. Are badges and points aka gamification not enabled for taking courses? Is there another way to earn points and badges?

Someone keeps registering me for meetings that I dont want to attend

The invite does not have an unsubscribe link and I have been getting spammed with them for months now. The sender is Zoom and if I block it I will not be able to receive emails for other zooms that I actually register for. How can I stop this sender ... Show more

The invite does not have an unsubscribe link and I have been getting spammed with them for months now. The sender is Zoom and if I block it I will not be able to receive emails for other zooms that I actually register for. How can I stop this sender from falsely registering me for their Zoom meetings with no contact info or unsubscribe link?

I recently deleted Fathom, I had downloaded it without knowing what I was doing so I uninstalled it. And now I can't open a zoom meeting. I get the above message and don't know how to clear it.

Can anyone help please?

The meeting does not support dial in or call me to join. You cannot connect to the audio.

I was using zoom for 2 years, and everything was perfect. But now every single time I try to create a meeting, no one, including me, can connect to the meeting's audio.

 

When you join the meeting, message pops up that says, "The meeting does not support dial in or call me to join. You cannot connect to the audio."

 

I saw similar problems for other users, but still have not found any working solution.

Sometimes I need to copy some text of the document I am sharing and paste it in a word file. In the past I used a tool in google

(copy and note), recently when I am sharing the screen in zoom, everything and I activate that tool, everything freeze and I have to switch off the pc. Is there any other way to copy a text or an image while sharing the screen?

I'm having a problem with the language settings for Zoom meetings embedded within my LearnWorlds courses.

 

I'm using the Zoom integration to host live sessions for my students. Everything works smoothly, except for the language displayed in the Zoom application during the meeting.

 

Even though my Zoom account and meeting settings are set to Polish, my students are seeing the Zoom interface in English. This is causing confusion.

I recorded a zoom and near the end of the meeting it said that I didn't have enough disk space. When I was done, I got a message saying I needed to double click files to convert once I cleared some space. I made space, but these files are not doing anything when I click them.

 

On the Zoom app I went to local recordings and clicked "convert", but I've had a spinning wheel for about 30 minutes. I realize this could take some time, but does this spinning wheel mean it's working or is nothing happening at all?

 

If someone could give me some input it would be great. Thanks!
