I set it up to record immediately at the start of the meeting.  I am aware that I only get 40 minutes with the Basic Plan.  Even so, it still isn't showing up for me.  Any advice?  I am new to this.   Thanks in advance!

Is anyone else seeing this or knows what it is?

I could record my screen and call it good, but that would involve even more software and the chance of error goes up.

I appreciate your help.

This is the kind of "value-add" that Zoom loves to force on its costumers, and explains why Zoom was embarrassingly unable to capitalize on market share during the pandemic. Microsoft Teams and Google Meet are so much better in every way, and I hate having to admit that.

I'm uninstalling Zoom from my workstation and will be using Google Meet moving forward.

my zoom used to save my professional audio settings, and whenever I would log in I would have to do nothing.

for the past few months, I now have to switch the setting to on, as it defaults to off.

I have a lot of technically challenged students who I have to talk through this process every time and they find it daunting.

Why is this now the default setting? Is there a way of changing this.

thanks

Hi,

I'm an independent contractor meeting with customers every day over Zoom, and I just got a new M1 MacBook Pro as much of my business is done on Mac. However, as I now run parallels since M1 Macs no longer have access to Bootcamp, I'm encountering an issue I never had before. Zoom no longer allows me to have virtual backgrounds up which is a problem as I work from home. It just says, "your devices does not support virtual backgrounds". This doesn't make sense as I can use them just fine when running on the Mac side of things. And yes, I know I run both Mac and Windows simultaneously on it, but it's a lot easier to have them both on the Windows at the same time for what I do. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem?

We are a small non-profit with one Zoom Pro license that we use for meetings and workshops. I am starting a new program that will involve up to 20 different small-group, peer-led meetings throughout each month. I would like for each small group leader to host the meeting (with screen share and recording capability). I know I could start each meeting as host, make the group leader co-host, and then leave, but that's a lot of work and I'm doing this on a volunteer basis. Are there any alternatives that won't require us to purchase a license for each individual group leader? That would be cost-prohibitive for us.

For example, could we purchase one more Pro license, add all of the group leaders as users, and use that to assign them as Alternative Hosts when we schedule the meetings?

Thanks for your ideas.

I'm trying to download zoom meetings on my iMac desktop. My operating system is High Sierra 10.13.6. It says zoom requires 10.14 or higher. Is there an old download that zoom can send me? I need to use zoom for my assignments. Thank you. D

I go to a few meetings that are held on a regular basis and the meeting ID and passwords are always the same along with the day and time. So, what I would love to be able to do is save all the meeting information and then when I am ready to log onto them I have all the information saved in like a phone book and just click on JOIN next to the one I want and connect to the meeting!  How can I do that?

If ZOOM does not currently do that, I was havijg trouble finding the feature request section if some colus SHOW ME where it is I would be grateful!

Thanks!
