Remote control closes shared window

My screen sharing works fine and I can use all the tools to annotate. But as soon as I give remote control to another participant and they click on my screen (using any of the annotation tools) - the window I'm sharing collapses. It happens randomly ... Show more

My screen sharing works fine and I can use all the tools to annotate. But as soon as I give remote control to another participant and they click on my screen (using any of the annotation tools) - the window I'm sharing collapses.  It happens randomly with different participants. Sometimes it doesn't happen in one meeting but happens in the next one with the same person.

Resolved! Camera Upside Down and no volume

HI, I am new to Zoom and have a meeting tonight. I did a test run signing in today and noticed that the video/camera has me showing upside down and there is no volume even though it is unmuted? Zoom help said to click on Profile photo at top right ha... Show more

HI, I am new to Zoom and have a meeting tonight. I did a test run signing in today and noticed that the video/camera has me showing upside down and there is no volume even though it is unmuted?

 

Zoom help said to click on Profile photo at top right hand of page and select settings, when I do this there is no option for settings??!!!

 

Can anyone kindly help?

Allow participants to unmute themselves

In the past, all meeting participants came in muted, but could unmute themselves.  That's what we would like to have happen.

In the past week, participants are coming in unmuted.   I changed the admin setting (don't know why it was suddenly unselected - I didn't do it),  but the setting now says,  

"Automatically mute all participants when they join the meeting. The host controls whether participants can unmute themselves"
How do I - at the admin level - allow participants to unmute themselves?

Zoom crashes on Linux ~15 minutes into a call

Since I can remember, zoom crashes around 15 minutes into a call (entire app crash). So I use the browser instead, which is fine, but it doesn't support the nice virtual background.How does a web conferencing technology with so much market share cras... Show more

Since I can remember, zoom crashes around 15 minutes into a call (entire app crash). So I use the browser instead, which is fine, but it doesn't support the nice virtual background.

How does a web conferencing technology with so much market share crash on Linux?

Version of zoom (though I've periodically tried the zoom client since maybe a year ago, and it always has the same behavior - crashes after 15 minutes into a meeting.)

zoom version:
zoom-5.10.7-1

uname -r
5.17.7-arch1-1-surface

sudo dmesg | grep zoom

One new Pro account - other colleagues "unable" to log-in

Friends, I have created one new Zoom Pro account with ID & Password - for use by multiple people. My colleagues are "unable" to "Sign In" to this account from their computers using the ID & Password - when I am "not" Signed In. I need to resolve this... Show more

I have created one new Zoom Pro account with ID & Password - for use by multiple people.

 

My colleagues are "unable" to "Sign In" to this account from their computers using the ID & Password - when I am "not" Signed In.

 

I need to resolve this issue today. My colleagues need to use this account.

 

Is there perhaps some 'setting' I incorrectly set or did not set when creating this account that is preventing my colleagues from "Signing In"?

During meetings, I cannot see participant's video but they can see mine. The audio is fine.

I would have an option for choosing the interface language!

Hi,

we tested the interpreter functionality on Zoom Room systems and found some differencies between teh operation of the Windows based, and the Android system;

customer set two translated languages: English (which is among the defaults), and Hungarian (added as custom).

The Android based system shows both languages available, while the Windows based shows the English only.

(also on the list of participants, the interpreter is marked with 'EN' when act as english translator, but when set as Hungarian, the "HU" mark only appears on the Android's lsit, bit not on Windows)

Did anyone had the same issue ever?

Should be the cause that one is custom language, while the other is a custom added?

Any ideas appreciated!
