This resource (in the way of a printout) would benefit services that support people from diverse backgrounds and their clients. Thank you.

What's up!

Our CEO's assistant said when she cancels a Zoom meeting in Outlook as a delegate, it disappears from her's and our CEO's calendar. They have no way of referencing the cancelled meeting so they know to reschedule it.  Is this a Zoom problem or a Microsoft problem?

I've used Zoom for a couple of years, but over the past month it has been abruptly shutting down the computer a few seconds after joining a meeting, with a whooshing sound.  I run it on windows 10 on an apple computer through bootcamp, so when I Switched over to OSX I found it had caused a panic kernel.  I made sure the antivirus and both operating systems were fully updated before checking the updated version of Zoom.  It was a 32-bit version, so I deleted it and upgraded to the most recent 64-bit version.  This worked for about a week and then it started shutting down again.  I followed the same procedure, but it didn't work until I deleted Zoom and reinstalled it.  Does anybody have an explanation for what's causing the shutdowns?

Zoom add-in is putting in a different meeting id - not my PIM tied to my account

Hey, does anyone know why the Zoom add-in for outlook would be putting in a PIM that is NOT mine? It is adding appointments to my calendar for me and others, but then when I click on it - it says, waiting for the HOST?? But I'm the host and it won't ... Show more

Hey, does anyone know why the Zoom add-in for outlook would be putting in a PIM that is NOT mine? It is adding appointments to my calendar for me and others, but then when I click on it - it says, waiting for the HOST?? But I'm the host and it won't let me in? Weird?

Thoughts?

I use Garageband and zoom on my MacBook Air. When I connect my external microphone to use on GarageBand it does not show up on GarageBand. All that shows up is 'Internal Microphone' and 'Zoom Audio Device'. How do I get rid of zoom audio device? My external  microphone works perfectly well on my other MacBook Air computer. This is because I have never used zoom on my other MacBook Air computer.

Hi, Got an email invite to a meeting. Sometimes when I press on the " join meeting"  link it works fine. Other times pressing on the same link I get "Zoom may not be supported on your browser" so I have to cut and paste the meeting link into the browser. What a pain.  Why does it work sometimes but not other times? Thanks!

When making  a virtual presentation on Zoom to your audience the veed teleprompter allows you to look directly into  the camera while the script is rolling to effectively make the presentation.  Problem is because the mic and camera must be used by the teleprompter software, when you go to the zoom meeting the screen is black. Other platforms allows this effective tool to be used simultaneously.   The presenter may not be able to see the audience while using the teleprompter; but the audence can see the  presenter. After the presentation the, presenter clicks out of the teleprompter screen allowing to return to the zoom  meeting to answer questions  and  additional dialogue.  Zoom needs to move up its features to assist with this most effective feature for presenters.  https://www.veed.io/teleprompter  gives a glimpse at this process.  Caution: It does not work the way it is explained in the video.  Just adding  the video to give you some  prespective.

Has anybody had an issue with the Interpreter audio being garbled during a meeting? Multiple attendees reported it for both interpreters. Zoom support says it has to do with high CPU usage on the host computer, but that seems unlikely as the meeting was initiated from the web meeting screen, and the meeting continues on and the problem persists, even if I turn off my computer entirely.  Any ideas?
