Zoom camera switches from original ratio to a huge widescreen mid meeting?

I was all prepared for my meeting and made certain that the physical background I put up behind me was all that would be seen on my video. As soon as I spoke it jumped to a giant widescreen, exposing the mess on the sides of my background. I have scoured the internet for answers and found the option to choose "original ratio". I was so relieved, as this was very embarrassing. Well, then I spoke, and there was the mess again, right on the screen for everyone to see. I feel defeated! I see many posts with similar experiences, some from over two years ago. Why is this problem not being addressed? People use this program for professional meetings and expect their privacy to be respected. Then it switches and shows everything you were trying so desperately to hide. Is there some secret weapon to fixing this awful issue? I cannot seem to find any option that may make this better on any of the settings and I hate how the virtual/blurred backgrounds make you look all funny. At least on the PWA you can have a little box of yourself and its hides the rest. Unfortunately, the desktop version does not have this and has this stupid "glitch" or whatever you want to call it. Technology has come so far... why is this happening stillllll?!

Hello,

I am using the zoom component view inside the Angular application. When the meeting authentication is false, I am able to join the meeting as an attendee successfully but when kept to true, the joining fails and throws the 'JOIN_MEETING_FAILED' error with errorCode 3034. Is there any way I can join the meeting as an attendee while the meeting authentication is true? The meeting is a registered meeting i.e. I am using tk value inside the join URL.

Attaching the error screenshot for reference.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Regards.

This happens all the time.

Somebody invites me to a Zoom event. This invitation goes to my main GMAIL account which displays an auto "YES; NO; MAYBE" answer.

But this email gets reset to my personal account.  In this resent email, not only the first but the second account are added to the invitation.  And it is my private email and information that I don't want anybody to know about.

This is always confusing because I end up rejecting the meeting with one of the accounts (the personal one) and then accepting with my professional account.   I have missed calls because of this, becuase people think you rejected the invitation.

Participant List CSV, Missing Participants in List vs False Total?

Hi all,

I'm a licensed user through my organisation and I just downloaded CSVs from "Reports>Usage" section for a few meetings' participant list.

First 2 rows in the CSVs, are high level information which includes a "Participants" and number for it; and below that is the participant list, by name, email, duration and guest or not information for each participant.

Problem is the high level "Participants" number in the first 2 rows is  substantially larger (~30%)  than the count of  participants listed below. This applies across all CSVs I've downloaded the report for and couldn't find information explaining these CSV structures online. Could you please help me understand why that "Participants" number is larger than count of below listed participants?

Cheers

Hi,

I am using a virtual background with a green screen. With one of my licensed accounts I have a problem with the camera view changing when the participants enter. I have it set up in advance so that the students can just see me with the virtual background. But then when other participants enter,  the camera view switches to a wider version so that everyone can see the area on the right and left of my green screen. This happens even when I click on original ratio. The participants 16:9 seems to override my 4:3. How can I get the camera view to stay in the original ratio, regardless of what the participants have?

Oddly enough, I have another account and when I use that account, I don`t have this problem. The camera view stays the same. However, I can`t find any settings that are different! I would be very happy if someone could help me because the view changing is not very professional. I have actually had to stop using the virtual background with this account because of this issue.

And, it's unreasonable to think that an acceptable workaround is to make employees admins at a 500-1000-person company. This type of access should be included in Scheduling Privileges for follow-up purposes of meetings.
