I am trying to give a host key that was given to someone as a basic user.  I am trying to set it up so that one of my members can get into the zoom room with a host key so I do not have to be the only one to start it.  Room is open all the time.  meetings are at certain times but not scheduled in the zoom account.   i open the room so they can host a meeting.  The reason for this is because we do not have to have a different ID number for each meeting scheduled.

Question:

1. Can another member get into the licensed account as a basic user using the host key with out a scheduled meeting?

2.  If I have to schedule a meeting for another basic member to use a host key, is there a way to change the ID to the licensed ID# so we all use the same ID#?

I have 8 to 10 recurring meetings, a few of which I have used since 2019. All of my recurring meetings disappeared today. I last used one yesterday.

I use the desktop zoom app, so I logged in to web to see if my meetings were visible in my account on web. They are not there.

I then followed the support page instructions to "Recover" a meeting (this recovers a meeting that was deleted), but I am not presented with the "Recover" option in the expected place.

I created a new recurring meeting and it shows up in my account in the desktop app and on web, whereas all my old recurring meetings are just gone. There is nothing in "Previous" and they are not in "Meetings."

Did this happen to anyone else today??

NEW INFO that I discovered right before posting: I am able to see all my existing recurring meetings on my Android phone app, including the new one I created today. PLEASE HELP. What is happening?

EDIT: Now, I can see my older recurring meetings on web, but I cannot see them on my desktop app (Windows), which is where I most need access to them.

EDIT 2: I updated the new meeting to be a recurring meeting with "No Fixed Time" and I cannot see it on my desktop app at all anymore. All of the meetings are recurring with "No Fixed Time." This is the root of the problem. What is the fix?

MacOS Sequioa 15.4.1.  Zoom Workplace 6.4.6.

Whenever I close the application it "quit unexpectedly" and generates a crash report.

I have had no problems start or running the application nor any issues with meetings or meeting features.  The only issue is that it crashes when I try to close the application.

The forum doesn't allow linking text documents and I don't want to just copy the whole crash report here.  It's huge.  I think the following lines explain the high level reason for the crash.

Crashed Thread: 0 Dispatch queue: com.apple.main-thread

Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGKILL (Code Signature Invalid))
Exception Codes: UNKNOWN_0x32 at 0x000000011231ef42
Exception Codes: 0x0000000000000032, 0x000000011231ef42

Termination Reason: Namespace CODESIGNING, Code 2 Invalid Page

....

Kernel Triage:
VM - (arg = 0x0) A memory corruption was found in executable text

....

Logical CPU: 6
Error Code: 0x00000014 (no mapping for user instruction read)
Trap Number: 14

I'm thinking this is just a bug and hopefully a fix will be out.

Regards,

I participate in  a number of 12 step programs that meet via Zoom.  The entry information is public, because we want to attract the public.

Zoom bombers are a huge problem.  They come in, make loud noises, insult our speakers, and show disgusting images.

We do all the security stuff: enabling the waiting room, turning off renaming, removing and reporting -- but the constant need to have security taxes our resources.  Also, some days there might be a less experienced host who lets something slip for a while.

Our members are frequently traumatized by these creeps, and sometimes are afraid to come back.

People come to 12 step programs because they are in the grips of life threatening addiction.  If they don't come back, they may die.  These Zoom bombers are really murderers.  This is not just a prank.  It's serious.

I feel that the response of Zoom to this problem is totally inadequate.  Blaming the victims -- because allegedly our security is insufficient, or something, when we're trying the best we can -- is not the solution.

I feel it's time to get law enforcement involved.  These people should be in jail. They don't just need to have their accounts terminated.  They need to be tracked down, identified, and prosecuted.

We do notice that incidents increase during college vacation times. Obviously, a lot of these people are college students.  Colleges and Universities need to be notified that this is happening, so that they can do sensitivity education.

I feel Zoom has a responsibility to keep us informed about what they're doing to prosecute these people -- and to really go after them much more forcefully.

Hi there,

Looking for some support on syncing with Google Calendar. When a meeting is created in Google calendar, it syncs to the Zoom calendar. When it's deleted from Google calendar, it's deleted from the Zoom calendar. However when it's updated from Google Calendar the changes do not sync. So if the meeting ID/link is changed, or the description is updated, these updates do not sync to the zoom app or website calendar. Can you assist with this please?

While acting as host/co-host when participants raise their hands their windows move to the top left of the screen. The ZOOM bomber while playing pronography has been raising then lowering their hand making it hard to pin them and remove them. It helps to look at their name then got to the “Participate list” and seach for them and kick them out form there, rather than from the video tiles. I would like to disable this so they don't move around the screen when quickly raising and lowering their hand. Thanks
