Hello, I am the secretary of an association, and for some time now we have been organising meetings on Zoom for members during which an expert gives a lecture, always using Power Point.
Unfortunately, a problem occurred during the last lecture: I started the recording, the speaker's presentation was shared and we all watched it, and some participants asked questions. When the meeting was over, the programme processed everything and saved it locally (a choice made for all recordings).
I checked the result, but while the voice was completely recorded, my desktop always appears in the video, only at the end does the last slide of the presentation show up.
I ask you what could have happened, we have another meeting next week and I would like to understand what to do.

Can I host 1 meeting on 1 place and host again another meeting to another place with another laptop using only 1 account at the same time?
Is it possible to do this? I'm thinking to lend my account to one of my colleagues.
And if possible, is there a specific type of account to use?
If there should be an alternative host for the other meeting, should the alternative host have the same account type(Pro,Business,etc)?

breakout room pre-assign not available in Admin Settings

A friend and I have the same level of zoom account. When we schedule a meeting, in my account under the "Options" listing, I have the 'Breakout Room pre-assign' option listed. In his account, the "Options" listing is missing the 'Breakout Room pre-assign' option. We went over the Settings comparing our accounts and cannot see what would cause his account to be missing that option.

 

Any suggestions on where to look?

Can anyone help please?

When in a meeting, the visuals of my screen go haywire: strobing, distortions, multi-colour visions...horrid.

It occurs after 30 seconds of the meeting starting. I then switch off video, back on again, and then it's not long before it starts again...this has occurred every meeting since last Zoom update...?

Any solutions please?

I previously subscribed to a paid Zoom plan and recorded some meetings, which were saved to the cloud. However, I have since canceled my paid subscription and no longer have access to the paid features.

 

I would like to retrieve the recorded meetings I had stored on Zoom.

 

Could you please advise me on how I can access or download those recordings?

Hello everyone,

 

Since it appeared as a Beta-option, I have been a keen user of the "Screen share > advanced > Powerpoint as a background" feature, which has always worked well so far.

 

However, when I tried again yesterday, the clickable area with the text "Powerpoint as a background" on the "Advanced" tab  was not clickable anymore, and it showed a warning symbol with an exclamation mark. The other 5 options on the "Advanced" tab seem to work just fine.

 

I tried this on my desktop, as well as on my laptop, and with the same result: no access to the "Powerpoint as a background option" anymore.

 

Anyone has an idea what the cause of this is, and how it can be solved?

Breakout room kicking everyone out getting

I have several breakout rooms with other host, and I am one of the host. When I leave to go support a breakout room, I get this“You are sign into another Zoom meeting; would you like to end this zoom meeting before going into this zoom room?” I have ... Show more

I have several breakout rooms with other host, and I am one of the host. When I leave to go support a breakout room, I get this

“You are sign into another Zoom meeting; would you like to end this zoom meeting before going into this zoom room?” I have never gotten this to go to another breakout room and when I click yes, even if there is a host in the room I was leavening. It would close that breakout room kick everyone out and open the new one with other participants. When I try to go back to the breakout room that I just left. I would get the same thing come up. “You are sign into another Zoom meeting; would you like to end this zoom meeting before going into this zoom room?” and it was happening to other host. Can you please explained why is this happening after going to the new Zoom workplace and I have the updated version also just in-case you blame that.

I am regularly hosting zoom meetings where I share an audio played from a website on chrome. 

Last time suddenly my sound was barely hearable to the participants and myself. I checked all sound options on zoom and on my laptop's system settings, without any result. (I checked whether "share sound" was on, tried mono and stereo quality, and zoom has all permissions on my laptop). In a new test meeting, after logging out and creating a new meeting just for myself, it worked fine. 

I have never had this problem before. I urgently need a solution as I rely on this function weekly. 

I have got a Macbook Air 15.3.2 and Zoom workplace 6.4.6. 

I have not changed any settings since the last time it worked fine. The only thing I recently did was clearing cache in Chrome.

As the problem does not occur every time I don't understand it and need a solution. During the meeting I am hosting there is no option to quit the meeting and enter it again, as the participants rely on the host being available throughout (it would throw all out). 

 

I am afraid to reinstall zoom and chrome as I don't want to mess up any further now. 

 

Thanks for your help, I am quite desperate.

Camera not working in "Video Mode" or on Zoom Meetings, but works in "background and effects Mode

When I go to the Settings screen and hit Video, I get a blank screen. It says it is hooked up to my camera. Then when I go the "Backgrounds and Effects" The camera works fine.  It will not work at all in an actual zoom meeting.  The audio works fine.  The camera works on other apps. I have set and rest the permissions.  I have reset the camera, reloaded the camera app, Restarted the computer, updated and reloaded the Zoom app.  How can the camera work on the Backgrounds mode and not on the Video mode?  I am baffled.
