We have multiple zoom rooms setup but two start to share content when the meeting starts and we don't want that to happen.  I have compared all settings for one room that does share automatically and one that does not, they are exactly the same.  Has anyone seen this issue or know what needs to change so that content does not share as soon as the meeting starts?

We have set up a camera and sound system in our boardroom for use with hybrid meetings.  The camera detects people in the room and  automatically readjusts during the meeting to optimally capture everyone in the room and around the boardroom table.

 

I would like to add a company logo to be imposed on the live image (preferably near the top middle of the image), but since there are multiple people seated in the boardroom on the one Zoom session, a virtual background with the logo already on it does not work.  We want to actually see our real boardroom.  I would like to see it like a watermark on the live image if possible.  

 

Is there a way to do that in Zoom?

Host has another meeting in progress

From my old PC (Windows 10) I can 'host' meetings and accept attendees into the meetings -- no issues When I attempt to host from my new laptop (Windows 11) the attendees either 1) See the message "Host has another meeting in progress" (90% occurance... Show more

From my old PC  (Windows 10) I can 'host' meetings and accept attendees into the meetings --  no issues

 

When I attempt to host from my new laptop (Windows 11) the attendees either 

1) See the message "Host has another meeting in progress" (90% occurance)  or

2) are left waiting to enter, because the 'host' is not aware that anybody is waiting to answer. (10% occurance)

 

Previously researching  the 'Community' I followed the advice to uncheck the 'keep me signed-in' flag.

 

Any more suggestion

Can no longer connect to audio and I've tried everything!

I know this has been discussed just recently and I have read all the threads but I can't figure this out. I suddenly started having a problem yesterday (Nov 3, 2022) with connecting to my audio. I get a statement saying "The meeting does not support dial in or Call Me to join. You cannot connect to the audio'. I have tried everything that people have graciously posted to someone else having this same issue. 

 

What could be the problem and why is this suddenly happening? I use Zoom to teach when students can not come in person but this poses a major problem. I tried signing in on another laptop and it won't work either. I had to use a complete different Zoom account which worked. Why doesn't my account work?

Local recording

I can not find the local recording on my computer, the meeting that I have conducted right after has stored correctly but not the first one.

Is there any way that I can find it?

Meetings keep shutting down after 40 minutes

A few months ago I noticed that my meetings were getting shut down after the 40 minutes. It didn't happen on all calls I was making but enough. After looking, I discovered that my account somehow now says that it is a basic account. I checked with my wife who pays all the bills, and she verified the money has come out of our account for the premium service. 

 

I'm now trying to reach out and get assistance but keep being told my account is a basic account and I can't speak to anyone without upgrading my account. I just tried to open a ticket and was immediately sent a message that my ticket had been closed because they are unable to assist.

 

I'm at a loss of what to do next to get this resolved, everything I do to try to get support leads me to "you have to upgrade", despite the fact that money keeps coming out of my account.

We have a pro account and educate online. The issue on our side is; when we want to see all the people in the screen, but need to record ourselves (Not the other members). Is there any selecting or settings for that? 

 

In short;

** I will be the recorder.

** I must see the all people in the class without spotlight. 

** I must record myself for course takers.

 

The system records what it is seen in my screen. Need a solution to record only myself. It is like creating a spotlight only for recording. Is there any settings for this???

Zoom Outlook Calender Add-in for Mac not working

I am using gmail and gmail workspace accounts on my Mac for outlook.

 

I manage multiple emails for a clients. My clients have paid subscriptions for their individual zoom accounts.

 

Recently added 2 new emails. from Gmail Workspace.

 

These 2 new emails I have the zoom schedule meeting for Calendar grayed out, but works for other gmail accounts (with pro).

 

I tried removing the add-in and reinstalling, but the same thing.

 

Compared the settings on zoom and the gmail accounts. Can't find any differences. Still grayed out.

 

Removed and re-added the gmail accounts, but still a no go. Ran out of what I think are th possible solutions that is why I am asking.

I need to schedule a meeting for my non-profit group.  However, I will not be available to participate in the meeting.  The person running the meeting was not able to stop or start the video recording as he was not the host.  From what I understand, I can only add a co-host during the meeting and this will not work as I will not be able to log on during the time of the meeting.  I also cannot add him as an Alternative Host because I am the only licensed user on the account.

 

Is there a solution to this I am over looking?  I'm new to this organization and to Zoom.
