Hey all. On a Mac with Monterey. Upgraded to 5.11.5 (9788) and ever since I'm getting weird sound distortion when using my airpods pro.

Sounds like a very intense echo/robot/Darth Vader effect.

When I Test the Mic in settings it sounds fine, but whenever I jump into a meeting it distorts to the point where no one can understand me.

I tested this also by starting a meeting with just myself and recording it and it distorts in those recordings as well.

I've gone through all the suggestions from other posts on this forum. Anyone else? Airpods Firmware is also current.

We have a recurring meeting for our team at work.

The meeting was scheduled by one of the teammates.

The problem is that whenever that person has another meeting at the same time or a previous meeting has extended, the other teammates cannot enter the meeting and get the "The host has another meeting in progress".

We just need to have a recurring meeting (with a single meeting link), and that anyone would be able to join without relying on any single participant being in another meeting.

Currently when this happens, another person has to create a new meeting and invite all the attendees to the new meeting, which is a mess.

I found there is an "alternate host" feature, but it requires a certain subscription which we don't have (this option doesn't appear at all when scheduling a new meeting or editing an existing meeting).

Also, in the meeting settings I tried disabling the "waiting room" option, enabling the "allow participantes to join any time".
And in the profile settings enabling the "Allow participants to join before host" option.

All this didn't help, the participants still can't join and get the aforementioned message.

Any ideas?

I work for a small charity. We provide emotional support groups and use Zoom to host these meetings.

We would like to be able to see who is in attendance, so that if a participant has not turned up, we can give them a quick call to remind them.

We don't want to enter the call as this would be disruptive, nor do we want our facilitators to log the attendance live as we want them focusing on the sessions.

Is there a way to monitor attendance of a meeting in Zoom without entering the meeting and counting the attendees?

Thanks,

JM

Hi there,

I cannot find a solution for my 'challenge'.

I would like to share a power point presentation in a zoom call using an ipad. Is this feasible? If so, I would be truly grateful for input. TIA

I've tried over several month and it's always the same. I've successfully shared dozens of files and videos from my iMac pro computer so I understand the process. However, anytime I'm hosting a meeting on the same computer and want to share my USB connected iPhone screen to the meeting, it never shows up so I can't.

I'm using macOS Monterey 12.3.1 and Zoom Version: 5.10.4 (6592) and my Finder shows the wired connection to the iPhone so my computer knows the phone is connected. When I click on Share Screen, there is no option displayed for my iPhone. Attached screenshots. One of the photos shows what I think I should see (from the Zoom help page) since it is a wired connection but my options never show that. The other two photos show my options to share on the Basic and Advanced tabs. The Files tab is similar so I didn't put the screen shot here.

Would love to fix this!!! Thanks

We have issue with switching participants from one room to another room.

Below is the scenario,

3 -Participants and 1-Invigilator(Host) :

The Invigilator has created 3 waiting rooms and moved participants from one room to other room. At this step, one of the participant was stuck & froze. And this participant also disappeared from the investigator's list.

But, At participant screen there is a black colored screen with processing icon (Attaching the reference)

We did perform testing with multiple scenarios & participants but observed the same issue over and over again.

Please Note, There was no network issue and performance was also good.

Thanks,

Pranath
