compressing videos

The last few times, after the 2-h-zoom-meeting finished, the automatic compressing takes over 1 h (!) until done. It used to take no more than 20 minutes. What's wrong....? It doesn't seem to be the internet connection.

Wouldn't it be nice if Zoom offered a service at lower cost than Pro?  Some of us are not businesses yet wish to have simple short meetings of small groups of friends (3-5 computers) and only occasionally, yet the only option is Pro.  Pro is not worth the cost to users like me.  Yet, I would be glad to pay for a package that offered less and had some limits. 

Can Zoom manage to make such an offer?

Anyone else feel similarly?

Owner unable to change Meeting Settings

I've scheduled a meeting and found that there's not only a passcode, but also a waiting room enabled for the meeting despite the "Require that all meetings are secured with one security option" being turned on. I can't find a way to remove the passco... Show more

I've scheduled a meeting and found that there's not only a passcode, but also a waiting room enabled for the meeting despite the "Require that all meetings are secured with one security option" being turned on.

I can't find a way to remove the passcode.

Despite the security measure only needing the waiting room to be enabled. 


Is there any way to fix this?

Resolved! Sudden change for scheduling Zoom via Gmail calendar?

This morning my gmail calendar no longer has an Add Zoom meeting option in the calendar event. I used to have the option to create an event, then add Zoom or Meet before saving or sending invitations. Now, there is an option at the bottom right after... Show more

This morning my gmail calendar no longer has an Add Zoom meeting option in the calendar event. I used to have the option to create an event, then add Zoom or Meet before saving or sending invitations.

 

Now, there is an option at the bottom right after I first click to add an event to make it a zoom meeting, but if I click that button, the event saves automatically before I can add any details. Has something changed? I tried uninstalling the extension and reinstalling already.

Resolved! Multiple emails/multiple account questions

I have 3 separate company emails (different domains) therefore 3 separate basic Zoom accounts. A couple of questions:Do I have to pay for 3 upgrades if I want the enhanced feature set for all my companies or is there a way to have one upgrade fee app... Show more

I have 3 separate company emails (different domains) therefore 3 separate basic Zoom accounts. A couple of questions:

  • Do I have to pay for 3 upgrades if I want the enhanced feature set for all my companies or is there a way to have one upgrade fee apply to each account?
  • I use Outlook for all my emails and I have the Outlook Zoom plugin. Outlook will book a meeting under the email associated with the calendar in the same domain. But when I go to the meeting to open zoom, I am seen as a participant, not the organizer, therefore I cannot open the discussion. Does that mean the plugin is tied to one and only one license?

Resolved! Mac OSX Ventura Zoom Desktop Client. Share computer audio option greyed out

Prior to upgrading to Mac OSX Ventura I was able to share the audio on my computer (from for example, a Quicktime video) to participants in a meeting. Now if it click on Share Screen/Advanced/Computer Audio the "Share sound" option in the bottom left... Show more

Prior to upgrading to Mac OSX Ventura I was able to share the audio on my computer (from for example, a Quicktime video) to participants in a meeting.

 

Now if it click on Share Screen/Advanced/Computer Audio the "Share sound" option in the bottom left corner of that window is greyed out. For all the other choices (Slides as Virtual Background, Portion of Screen, Video, Content from 2nd Camera), it is not greyed out!

 

Would appreciate any suggestions on how I might resolve this!
