I am hoping someone can help.

I had a very important meeting on Thursday, I am newer to Zoom, when they said for me to record on my end I did, there were 2 options, I chose Cloud which was available, when the meeting was finished, I went back to find the recording so I could begin my homework and found that Cloud is a paid service, and I would be unable to retrieve my file unless I paid 200.00 for a year of Zoom.

Can someone please help, this can not be the case, otherwise, it should not have been an option for me to select without a disclaimer.

Is it possible for there to be a more obvious indication I'm on mute? I didn't see if Zoom had any plugins for added but functionality.
So here's a description of something I'd really appreciate:

While I'm in a meeting and my mic is active, I see all the members of the meeting. 

On the Zoom application, the background window appears to be dark gray and this is the current, standard way the app works.

IF I'm my mic is on mute , I'd love if the application's background window was a different color, such as light gray? Or maybe it would be a configurable setting in the app?
Is there any current way to set this up???

I am using Zoom meetings on my desktop. When I try to minimize my view of myself it is not showing as a thumbnail on the same screen. It is showing on a different display. Why is that? I disabled dual monitors but it is still happening.

I have 1 on 1 meeting and I am trying to minimize my view of self but would like it to be on same screen.

What is the best way to motivate all the students? The answer to that question is worth $10,000,000.00/yearly for the rest life and a position at MIT, Oxford, University of Paris or any top institution of higher learning.

However, I will try.

2. Be consistent.

3. Use a variety of teaching techniques (students get bored easily)

I am the unpaid secretary of a small association.   We have peer support meetings that various members are trying to start at various times of the month.     The facilitators are having problems starting meetings.   Every time they start a meeting, someone has to be present to access the association's email address and send them the stupid email confirmation code.   As an unpaid volunteer secretary who travels a great deal, I can't be available every time a meeting starts to get the code to the facilitator!   Then, if the same facilitator is somewhere else with a different IP address, the same problem happens.   Our members are really hating Zoom at the moment.   We just had another meeting fail this morning as well, because, inexplicably, Zoom asked for a passcode to enter this specific recurring meeting, whereas it hadn't before in the past, so all that was sent out was the meeting link.  ):<
