I'm trying to have 2 computers logged in and according to this article I can have 2 desktops, 2 phones, 2 tablets logged in concurrently however as soon as I log into one computer I get logged out of the other. And when I try to enable more additional logins that menu doesn't even exist.

Has anyone been able to setup concurrent logins?

Zoom Crashes on Surface Pro 9 : Are you the Genius that can solve this?

Calling All Tech Sleuths: Zoom Crashes on Surface Pro 9 – The Unsolvable Puzzle?

Dear Zoom Community,

I’m putting out a global tech SOS. This isn’t your average “have you tried turning it off and on again?” scenario. This is a call to the rare breed of digital detectives who get excited when a problem refuses to die.

Here’s the sitch:

The Case File:

  • Device: Microsoft Surface Pro 9

  • Processor: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1235U @ 2.50 GHz

  • RAM: 8 GB (7.83 GB usable)

  • OS: Windows 11 Pro (64-bit)

  • Touch Support: 10-point multitouch & pen

The Problem:

Zoom crashes every single time I try to use it. Especially when sharing my screen, but even without. Not once, not twice—this has been going on for weeks. Clean installs? Tried. Device resets? Done. Even reinstalled Windows. Fifteen times. (Yes, I said 15.)

The crash behavior persists regardless of whether I:

  • Join with or without video

  • Log in via browser, app, or guest

  • Use different Wi-Fi networks

  • Disable hardware acceleration

  • Clear cache/temp folders

What’s Been Tried (Extensively):

  • Fresh OS installation (Windows 11)

  • Full wipe & reinstall of Zoom

  • Driver updates (from both Microsoft and Intel sources)

  • Running Zoom as Administrator

  • Closing all background apps

  • Creating a fresh user profile

  • Running Zoom in Safe Mode

  • Adjusting virtual memory (paging file)

  • Ensuring no 3rd party antivirus or firewall interference

Even tried this Reddit tip:

Set Zoom to Windows 8 compatibility mode via c:\users\[username]\appdata\roaming\Zoom\bin\zoom.exe.
Right click on it, go to the compatibility tab, check the option to "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and select "Windows 8" in the drop down

But:
In Windows 11, the compatibility mode options for Zoom don’t appear in the right-click > Properties menu. Either Microsoft stripped them out, or Zoom’s new structure doesn’t allow it.

Support Wall Hit:

  • Zoom Support: Non-responsive or stuck in scripted loops.

  • Microsoft: They’ve effectively said, “We don’t know either.”

  • Surface Diagnostics Tool: Shows everything’s fine.

  • Zoom logs: Crash logs unclear / inconclusive for layfolk (but I’ll happily share them with anyone who wants to take a crack).

So… Geniuses of the Internet:

If you love unsolved tech mysteries, this is your invitation. If you’ve got a Surface device, Zoom insights, or a knack for deep-level Windows debugging—I need you.

I’ll buy you a (virtual) coffee and sing your praises across every subreddit, forum, and Zoom townhall I can find.

Let’s solve this together.

Comment below if you want crash logs or are curious to dive deeper. I’ll provide whatever you need.

The game is afoot.

Till date nobody has been able to solve this problem!! Let's see if you're able to!

I recently upgraded to a Pro paid account, and I'd like to know if my existing Zoom meetings scheduled under the Basic plan will automatically convert to the paid plan, allowing for an extended duration. I chose a paid account for this very reason, and I’d love to avoid rescheduling my previously planned meetings to ensure I have that extended duration.

I recently upgraded to a pro account so that I could do in meeting polling. I created a poll outside my meeting which is already scheduled, but when I enter the meeting, there is no option to launch a poll. The icons at the bottom do not include polling, and when I click the more button, it only has livestreaming options. I cannot launch an existing poll nor can I create a new one. I have read and tried everything I can find int he zoom help files. been trying since yesterday.

I have been experiencing a toggling/flipping back and forth of the Video camera (the green video icon at the top of Macbook screen also glitches on/off while this happens) when using Zoom App on Macbook. When I "Start a Meeting," the dropdown in video continuously changes between "FaceTime Camera" and the "USB Camera" and nothing I have tried has solved this issue (and I can't seem to find something exactly the same happening online. ANY and all help would be most appreciated!! Thank you 🙂

Hello,

I recently experienced an embarrassing situation when joining a Zoom video conference call with an inappropriate virtual background image shown to other zoom session participants. When I tried to change my Video virtual background image to 'None', the inappropriate image still displayed behind my live video. I am running Android Zoom version 5.9.1 (build 3642) on a Galaxy S10 - Sense UI 3.1 and the option to change my Virtual Video background image is under Settings -->  Background and Filters --> Backgrounds. When I chose 'None' for the background image, the image loaded was still the inappropriate image instead of <no image>!

Upon further testing, if I chose a new image, this image now becomes the default 'None' image and I can't change the image until I select another image which if I didn't have another appropriate image to choose, would be extremely embarrassing for myself and others that join a Zoom call . This is a ripe opening for anyone with access to my or other Zoom users' mobile Android devices to change this setting without the user's knowledge and with no method to set a 'None' (no image) option.

NOTE: I also attempted to remove this inappropriate image by clearing app cache and data on my Android device but the 'None' image still appeared when joining a Zoom video call. I also uninstalled the Zoom app. from my phone and reinstalled/restarted my phone but the 'None' image still appeared when joining a Zoom video call. Only after setting a different background image did my 'None' background picture option change/persist.

Please investigate/fix this as soon as possible as I will not use the Video option in my Zoom Android client until this is fixed.

I am having a serious issue regarding the iOS zoom SDK, I am using pushKit to wake up the app via voip notification and then starting CallKit, when the users accepts the call, zoom sdk is initiated and then displays a black screen to the user, but the other side of the call can see the first also when the second party of the call opens the camera the first party also doesn't see the second and this is applied also on the audio so the zoom meeting is not working at all. Can we have a discussion or possible fixes for the sdk ?
