I have scheduled my first  onZoom meeting thinking it was 40 minutes long (my practice one was 40 minutes). But the window was limited to 30 minutes. I want to host a second of the same meeting, but would like to upgrade to get to be able to present for 45 min. to an hour.

I want to upgrade but no sure how to do that.

Will upgrading to 500 participants from 100 do the trick?

Thank you

Support Call - Client Side Meeting Controls + Client Windows getting in the way

Hey there, I'm on a Pro Plan and I've sent a support ticket, but of course, as expected in pure Zoom support fashion, Crickets! with no way to escalate my open ticket.

I run a Mac Online Tech Support Service and I work with beginners/seniors who are already nervous and easily frustrated coming into the call with their problems.

During a Support Call, I cannot see "EVERYTHING" on the client's screen which makes it difficult to know where I'm clicking when trying to do my work for them due to the amount of floating Zoom windows or Zoom-related interface panels that are constantly in the way, that don't show up on my side. i.e. I only see their desktop.

As most seniors & beginners don't have two monitors, everything is all floating on one screen for them, requiring my clients to constantly move things around so I can access where I'm trying to click.  This is coming across as highly unprofessional. I've lost 2 clients because they got frustrated with the constant instruction to move these windows every 30 seconds, and of course, they will move the window to another area that then blocks my access and the cycle continues.

How can I see "EVERYTHING" on the "CLIENT" side during a Support Call?

(EVERYTHING = ALL ZOOM WINDOWS AND PANELS!)

I've searched several times through Preferences settings on the Zoom App & the Zoom Accounts/Web pages but can't find anything related to what I'm trying to achieve.

Can someone please tell me how to achieve this? or at least confirm if this is possible or impossible to do?

If impossible, I'm open to people's suggestions on alternative apps/methods as I've reached my peak with Zoom and its terrible customer support.

Thanks kindly,
MOT

If using a browser on your computer the registration link takes you to the webpage however it is sized for a mobile device. The mobile device sizing equates to the meeting description being truncated horizontally and the formatting is thrown way off. it is a really bad look.

How do you fix this? It looks terrible and not very professional.

Have been learning Zoom to help Church better manage their services. Setup FB Live stream by enabling Facebook live in advanced meeting section. Successfully tested from Church Zoom account to my personal Facebook.  When I go back configure with Church FB account, cannot find way to delete my previous test connection in Zoom - when in meeting and clicking on the Live on Facebook option .

Tried the custom option, but it does not seem to provide  "oly" me option so I don't broadcast my test meeting live on church FB page. So am nervous of that option for now.

Cannot find any resource that helps illuminate how this works  and assume I might be missing the obvious?

Hi there,

we are a learning group using my account for meetings. However, as I am not always present, I want to make a list of 3 people also the  hosts, so that they can be the host on a day without me having to be there in the beginning to make them co-host and so that they can create breakout rooms. I understand that only hosts can create breakout rooms.

I cannot make sense of the tutorials so I thought I just ask you nice people.

I am sure this is a problem that many people have, is it? So my question is how does zoom handle it and what are the workarounds.

The meetings concerned involve screen-sharing of PP 'slides', a proportion of which embody a music element.  Habitually, in those instances that occur early in the sequence during the meetings, the music starts with no problem (via the 'Advanced' tab, 'Portion of Screen' , 'Share Sound' and 'Share', buttons, followed by loudspeaker image and clicking on the black triangle on the 'slide').  However, in subsequent instances during the meetings, and for no reason that has so far been determined, clicking on the black triangle fails to start the music.   On all slides, the functioning of the music-start function will have been tested in advance, and found to operate as intended.

Testing, after meetings, of the music-starts for those. slides where the problem occurred, finds no evidence of the problem - the music then starts fine in each case.  Has this problem been encountered by others, and can a way of avoiding it be suggested?
