For months now my organization has experienced a frustrating problem: re-occurring Zoom meetings in which the passcode changes on its own. When we log in for the meeting there is inevitably a flurry of emails from people saying the passcode isn't working for them. Then we have to send out a new link which makes the re-occurring meeting practically useless. It's extremely frustrating and inefficient. We can log-in to the Zoom account that originated the meeting to see the new passcode but that doesn't really help when the passcode is wrong in the calendar invite that was sent out. Does anyone else experience this? Is there any way to prevent it from happening?

Has anyone had their Users stuck in the Waiting Room when they shouldn't be? I am helping a local chapter configure their Multi User account this week. I have set up our chapter 2 years ago and helped numerous chapters do the same thing so I am completely stymied. Here's the deal: Chapter president created Zoom on Pro License in 2020. She hosted all their meetings (limited zoom knowledge) New President Elected in 2022. Old President changed the email on the account to the new Chapter President Email New President wanted her group leaders to be able to host so she added them to her Pro account as Basic Users She Enabled the Waiting Room so that "Users in account will bypass waiting room" and that in the "absence of Hosts and Costs those in the Meeting can admit others in the Waiting Room". This above setting was enabled for the Pro Account Meeting Setting. This same setting was enabled and locked for the Account Meeting Setting. She then created one Scheduled Recurring Meeting of "no fixed time". She then added 4 basic Users to her account. None of her users can bypass the waiting room in the Scheduled Recurring Meeting. I then asked to be invited as a User so I could test it out. I was made a Basic User Admin so I could verify the above settings in her multi user Pro Account. I have crossed checked her settings against my chapter's settings. My chapter has the exact same setup- a multi user pro account with users who bypass the waiting room and claim host since 2020 in our one scheduled recurring meeting. All the meeting and waiting room settings look the same in my account and her account. I am stumped. Does anyone have any ideas of why her users are stuck in the waiting room waiting for the host to let them in?

Hi there,

Hi there, I've been experiencing very weird and upsetting connectivity delays over the past months, with irregular incidence (don't we love that! 😉 that I could find no solution for so far... Often, when I admit participants from the lobby into my zoom room, they are suspended ("lost in space") for several minutes, neither of us able to see or hear each other, until they finally appear, often only with sound at first, until a minute later the video appears. Sometimes, when returning from breakout rooms, other participants can hear me, but i can't hear them nor see them, until 3 or 4 minutes have past. It's disastrous when leading workshops! Upgrading Zoom (incl complete uninstall and fresh install) and upgrading my Mac OS did not help. Creating a new user account did not help, either. Zoom Customer care did not reply to my emails. I'm desperate to find a solution and hope someone can help me here! One hint to the issue that has come up with the latest zoom upgrade is the error message "meeting number mismatch" that displays on the apps bar on the right side which seems to coincide with the appearance of the above described irregularities. see screenshot attached. Thanks so much for any hints! marc

After recent Zoom upgrades, in early January 2023, I suddenly was unable to share a video clip using share screen if I tried to share it full screen. Automatically the screen share was paused, without my doing anything and even when I tried to unpause it in the panel across the top it would not undue. I can use sharescreen to share a video clip on Zoom if I don't try to make it full screen. But every time I try to go full screen with the video clip I get the same problem. Could it be a Mac issue? I have a smallish Mac screen display size of 13.3 inches. Could that be a problem? It was fine before - until the 2023 Zoom updates. Currently using Mac OS Ventura 13.2.

H folks, I am using zoom for 1.5 Years, but most of the time, I am using BBB. Since 2-3 weeks, my video is horribly lagging in Zoom, while it works without any issue in BBB. Do you see any possibility, how I could get to the bottom of the cause? It is difficult, to tell my colleagues, to move to BBB 😐, but maybe I could do some research on this issue? Technical Specs: I am using Manjaro Linux on a Lenovo Ideapad (kernel 5.14.14-AMD-znver2) with a Ryzen 4700U and 16 Gigs of RAM. Internet accessand via Vodafone (1 GBit/s, cable). Example: Obs Studio with a video -> virtual camera -> Zoom and BBB simultaneously (both in Firefox V93), my CPU load is at ~ 50-60%, 60% RAM usage (some more FF-instances and apps ..) and there is no swapping. Result: BBB runs the video stream perfectly, Zoom seems to show every 2nd or 3rd frame. Maybe I can create a Video and load it up to YouTube. Has anyone an idea, where to look for the reason? Kind regards, Paul
