using Apple AirPods with Zoom on Windows 10 PC, hearing loss of audio on Zoom meeting (about 3 seconds long)  to AirPods whenever Outlook and Teams notifications occur. 

 

No error code involved

Apple AirPods from last few years

Zoom version is 5.13.7

no t/shooting done yet, not sure where to begin

 

Anybody else with this issue and know the fix?

Issues logging into Zoom meetings in APAC

Anyone having issues logging into Zoom meetings in APAC - tried multiple devices, OS's and browsers and different states -same results in Aust. No response from support ticket logged.

Audio issues with videos played over Direct Share

We've somewhat consistently been experiencing issues with audio from a video being very choppy, lagging behind the visual content, or just not playing at all when playing via Direct Share off of a laptop. Even weirder, the sound will often be split b... Show more

We've somewhat consistently been experiencing issues with audio from a video being very choppy, lagging behind the visual content, or just not playing at all when playing via Direct Share off of a laptop. Even weirder, the sound will often be split between the Room speakers and the laptop's speakers, but just barely audible on the laptop. This issue has occurred in multiple rooms at multiple sites, all using the same model laptop and speakers. However, some rooms have played the same video without issue, and others are a 50/50 shot of working or not. And while I haven't heard it in a while, sharing the video would produce a high pitched whine/buzz that would stop when the share disconnected. Everything is up to date, and screen share options are set to optimize for video clip. Is there something that I'm missing here?

Zoom Meetings Slow Connection when in same the Conference Room.

Hello, When we have 10+ people in a conference room joining a Zoom meeting we get some network slowdown. I am not sure how to improve this. Everyone connects over Wifi, our Wifi speeds are 200mbps+ up and down in the conference room. Any suggestions ... Show more

Everyone connects over Wifi, our Wifi speeds are 200mbps+ up and down in the conference room.

I have a Zoomgov account and have gone into the settings and enabled the Q&A ability for Zoom Meeting. However, when I open my meeting and open the Q&A session, people are unable to submit questions.

Camera not working on Zoom only, all troubleshooting steps have failed

I'm IT for a small nonprofit and I'm trying to support an employee whose camera isn't working on Zoom. It works fine on the built-in camera app. In Zoom, it shows a black screen. The frustrating thing is, I've tried every troubleshooting step I've seen listed. The computer is a Gateway GWTN156-7.

Steps I've tried:

  • Updating the camera driver in device manager (no update)
  • Uninstalling the camera in device manager and restarting
  • Ensuring that desktop apps have permission to use the camera
  • Uninstalling the USB hub in device manager and restarting
  • Removing the camera from the Windows "Bluetooth and devices" menu and restarting
  • Updating Windows and restarting (all updates now current)
  • Checking that the camera switch isn't turned off (it's not, again, other apps work)
  • Looking for a driver for the camera on the Gateway support site (no camera drivers listed)
  • Disabling hardware acceleration in Zoom
  • Running the Windows video troubleshooter
  • Changing capture methods to either direct capture and media foundation and restarting Zoom
  • Repairing the Zoom installation
  • Uninstalling and re-installing Zoom and restarting

I'm at my wit's end here. I've tried everything I can think of. Does anyone have any troubleshooting steps I've omitted?
