I used the Zoom simultaneous interpretation feature to conduct a meeting. Two individuals from Korea and five individuals from Japan joined, and one interpreter from Korea connected to provide interpretation for both sides.

However, the result was that only the voice of the interpreter from Japan could be heard, and the voice of the interpreter from Korea couldn't be heard. There were no issues with the settings or equipment used.

Have you encountered a similar problem before? Could it be possible that too many individuals connected from Japan, causing an error in Zoom?

When I screen share, the speaker view  function doesn't work as it used to. The camera only stays on one guest and doesn't switch between speakers. 

When I run a normal zoom meeting the speaker view will switch to whoever is speaking but as soon as I share my screen this function stops working and like I said wont switch between speakers.

When I see the recording I cannot see the person speaking when the screen is being shared. Does anyone know why this is happening and what to do about it?

This is a new issue and is EXTREMELY inconvenient and frustrating as I've done this dozens of times in the past and not have this issues.

we're trying to run our meetings of a terminalserver session (Win Server 2019). We are only using thinclients.

The problem we're facing is that the call is allways lagging. We know that this ist not an optimal solution, but the only way we are able to use it. 
Using the standard RDP Client from MS.

Any solutions you could offer us?

I develop a Mac desktop application and its window is expected to be ignored (i.e. being transparent) by the screen capture. However, Zoom Mac desktop client does such filtering in a broken way. The screen capture shows my window sometimes and hides it other times. Here is the result with my test application. It looks like Zoom brings back the window whenever any update is made on the window and then hides it a few seconds later.

I found a workaround. Go to Share Screen > Advanced, and set Screen capture mode as one of “Capture with window filtering”, “Advanced capture with window filtering”, and “Previous Operating Systems”. “Advanced capture without window filtering” shows my window all the time, and it sounds expected from its name.

In other words, the problem happens only when I set this config as “auto”.

It looks like the logic of “auto” mode is broken and it flips filtering on and off unacceptably.

Note that my application calls [NSWindow setSharingType:NSWindowSharingNone] to flag the desire.

I expect that screen capture software, like Zoom desktop client, honors it.

As an example, Microsoft Teams desktop client successfully makes my window hidden (transparent) when capturing the entire screen all the time without flickering.

I searched past forum posts, but I was not able to find this one. Is Zoom team aware of this issue and will they fix it?

We have an educator that has enabled "Sound notification when someone joins or leaves"; however, when learner join the meetings, the chime is not sounded. 

Has anyone come across this one before? Here are some details:

• Just switched to a new computer (had been working before on a different device)
• Zoom Version: 5.14.8.16213
• Chrome 113 on Windows 10
• Uninstalled Zoom and re-installed latest version (5.14.8.16213)

Hello, I am a Canadian user and am hoping to record Zoom meetings and use the transcription services to download the meeting transcript. According to the Zoom documentation, the transcription service is only available when saved to the cloud vs. locally on a personal computer. I'm wondering where the server that store the cloud data are located. Is this on Canadian servers? Due to Canadian privacy laws I must ensure the data are stored on Canadian servers. Please let me know if anyone has any insights on this. Thanks!
