i’m using a setup with two Oktava 012s and a Motu M2 audio interface. I use this set up to get higher audio quality for music. The set up sounds fine on my DAW, but when I try to use it in a zoom meeting, it sounds very static-y and poppy. This set up worked fine on zoom as recently as a couple months ago. My onboard laptop mic works fine in zoom meetings. I have a good connection, zoom is fully updated, and I’ve done every troubleshooting step offered on Motu‘s web site. 

any ideas what could be causing these audio quality problems?

Good morning,

I recorded a meeting in the cloud but the conversion doesn't finish. It's been a long time now and it always stays that way.

I always get this message:
Processing of registrations in progress ...

How can I recover this recording? Unfortunately it's in the cloud and not locally.

Since 2020 I often attend online conferences. I have noticed that one problem arises again and again.
Let us suppose, that a person wants to share his presentation. In order to do it in slide show mode, he should chose "share entire screen" option. But usually people chose to share only powerpoint window. It would be OK, but when the person presses F5 to start slide show, the audience does not see it. They see only ppt work area, but not the slideshow. 
It causes confusion at the conference, and the speaker looses his temper.

It would be great, if when the person choses to share only ppt window, the slideshow would work correctly.

I require an email discussion list having an email address people send to and everyone on the list receives the email. Google Workspaces will do that, but I'm wondering, since I pay for a Zoom account, will my Zoom account do that for me.

Participant join requests not showing to host

I was running the fourth session of a recurring meeting, and 2 of my regular participants weren't able to join (other regulars had joined fine a few minutes before). I have a waiting room enabled for the meeting, and those who made it in showed up an... Show more

I was running the fourth session of a recurring meeting, and 2 of my regular participants weren't able to join (other regulars had joined fine a few minutes before). I have a waiting room enabled for the meeting, and those who made it in showed up and I let them in as usual. Later, I found emails from the two who didn't get in, saying they had tried to join and it had sat at the 'host will let you in soon' screen. I, however, never got a notification that they were waiting, so wasn't able to let them in. They did request to join about a minute after the meeting started, but I people have joined late before with no issues at all, and I certainly don't stop people joining late. As far as I know, I hadn't done anything different this week to previous weeks, when I had no issues. Is there a) a way to stop this happening again, and b) a way to get people in to the meeting even if I can't see their request to join? Many thanks!

Resolved! A cloud recording from Feb 15 still has not shown up!!

I had a call where I was made host so I could record it on Feb 15 6 PM Eastern but it has never shown up. I hit record to cloud, the red record dot was on. I am now very nervous about relying on the record feature in zoom. Is there any way for zoom t... Show more

I had a call where I was made host so I could record it on Feb 15 6 PM Eastern but it has never shown up.  I hit record to cloud, the red record dot was on.  I am now very nervous about relying on the record feature in zoom.  Is there any way for zoom to track it down or find out what happened to it?

Cannot start a meeting - blank screen no controls

I have been hosting meetings regularly, the last one was last Thursday, but yesterday, upon launching, instead of the regular screen with controls, I got a blank screen with only my ID and no controls (see screen capture). Attendees joined (in another screen) I could see them and hear them but I could not join my own meeting. I closed the meeting for everyone, created another meeting, same thing. I had to cancel the meeting. I have been testing creating meetings and launching, and still the same blank screen with no controls. I have updated to the latest Zoom Client 5.13.10 - nothing changes.

I submitted a ticket to Zoom support yesterday, no reply. And I have another meeting planned for tomorrow Thursday. Any ideas, solutions? Many thanks.
