Resolved! Assigning Co-host before meeting

I can't find in the FAQ that how I can assign a co-host BEFORE the meeting.  I'd appreciate if someone can tell me I could do this.  There is a set-up in the template but I got a response that I cannot do that for some reason. THX

ABSOLUTELY NO SUPPORT FROM ZOOM. How does one get a technical support worker on the phone?? We pay $1200 per annum and can't get a problem fixed.... NEED HELP

 

For some reason since mid last year update, the option to add HOST (internal host) to a meeting we create has disappeared. After so many back and forth emails with Zoom, they don't seem to get it.

 

Previously we would create zoom meeting (reoccurring) via Google Calendar

- then in the zoom desktop app there was a option to assigned a HOST (Meeting>Edit>down bottom see more> can choose to record meeting and assign host)

**This option disappeared mid last year.

 

Zoom were unable to work out why this option disappeared (on our Desktop App) so 'THE WORK AROUND" we found was to then go to the iPhone APP and the option was still there when you went to edit the meeting (Meeting>Edit>down bottom see more> can choose to record meeting and assign host)

 

Now when we create an reoccurring meeting, this option in the IOS App has disappeared??? How do we now assign a different HOST?? This is such a simple task, but no-one can seem to solve it.

*Note the option is available still when logged into our account on browser. But we work on the go and need to option to assign a different host via the desktop app or mobile app.

 

Anyone having this issue as well? Any solutions please?

Checked It All - Still No Avatar, Video Filters or Studio Effects

I have the latest Zoom version, cleared cache in Zoom apps and browser, made sure avatar functions are enabled, restarted, uninstalled/reinstalled Zoom, terminated and re-established my account. AND STILL when I sign into my volunteer group's website... Show more

I have the latest Zoom version, cleared cache in Zoom apps and browser, made sure avatar functions are enabled, restarted, uninstalled/reinstalled Zoom, terminated and re-established my account. AND STILL when I sign into my volunteer group's website and click to open Zoom in a browser, all the options are available (Avatar, Video Filters or Studio Effects) until I sign in with my personal account information (which Zoom requires that I do when I click Avatar option in Video menu) and then all the options (Avatar, Video Filters or Studio Effects) disappear. I am located in the US Central time zone. Please help!

General problem with Line-in piano and cut-off sounds

Hey,

i connected my piano via USB-midi-controller to my Win 11 PC.

When I play something and record it with the build in Windows Audio recorder, nothing is cut-off, perfect sound.

If I do the same in Zoom, it cuts off lower sounds. It is already done in the microfone test. I already activated "original sounds for musicians" and tried some other settings, nothing helps.

Any ideas?

The original sound for musicians is turned on at the beginning of the meeting/class that includes music in the background. During the meeting, this feature turns off on its own and searches for a different default speaker and microphone, which then disables the music for the participants. How can we stop this from happening?

I am using the Zoom Linux client on Mint Linux (Ubuntu/Debian variation).

 

My video is fine.

 

I can hear people in my zoom meeting just fine.

 

They can't hear me.  All they get is some strange distortion noise.

 

I'm using a USB webcam plugged into a desktop PC

 

How can I begin trouble shooting this?

Zoombombing

Hi, 

There is a glitch in the zoom program.  When a zoombombing occurs and we Suspend Participant Activities- the participants should not be able to do anything at all. 

 

But, they can use the react button.  And raise their hand and put their hand down over and over, thus making their square jump to the front of the cue and then back to their original spot.  This is occurring on multiple paid accounts with very strict security settings set up.  

 

And if there are multiple zoombombers at the same time, then multiple people are raising their hand over and over and they then are jumping to 2 squares each.  Making it much more difficult to remove and report them.  

 

Why does the zoom program allow all participants to "react" when the host has enabled the "suspend participant activities" which is supposed to freeze and lockdown everything?

Previous Zoom Calls

Is there a way to see if previous scheduled video calls were actually made and for how long they lasted? I see Previous Calls that I scheduled but I need to know if they happened and the duration. Thanks
