Hi all!
For several years I have been dialing into various types of zoom meetings from google voice (which acts as a landline phone in this case). Today I tried joining a zoom class this same way. After I entered the numeric meeting ID, the zoom voice said ""This Meeting Does Not Allow Phone Dial In" and then the call automatically ended. I emailed the admin folks running the zoom meeting and they said they turned on the setting where participants can call in by phone, so we don't know what to try next. None of the solutions in the previous post about this, from someone who this happened to Jan of '22, worked for me, so I am hoping there are new ideas about fixing the issue. I have had a Zoom Pro account for over a year and recently downloaded the newest client version, but now I can only schedule group meetings for 45 minutes or less. Please advise how to restore my previous ability to schedule for several hours or more.

I use Zoom to conduct online training. A recent update to the software changed the behavior of the shortcut keys Control-Option-Command-H, which is used to hide the "task bar" from my view. Pressing the ESCape key restores its visibility. Before the update, the key combination was universal: Irrespective of which program I might have in "focus" (I do behind-the-scenes operations while attendees are viewing slides on my main shared display). Now, the combination is no longer universal; I have to click on the task bar to bring it into "focus," which requires me sometimes to stop what I'm doing to move the task bar out of the way. The ESCape key, however has stayed universal. Is there a setting I can tweak to return the old functionality, or conversely, use an AppleScript or Shortcut to pass the combination to Zoom? I note that Zoom does not have an AppleScript dictionary, nor does it appear on Shortcuts app screen, so I think this approach may be doomed to failure. I'm not sure why Zoom changed their approach to this hotkey combination, but I'd like it back!

Zoom indicates an update is necessary
Zoom will not update
Zoom instructions say... if Zoom was installed using MSI (that Zoom provides) autoupdate and the update button are disabled.
Thank you for such a well thought out software design. (thumb down)
I'm posting this because I use Zoom for two organizations I work with. I know Zoom's focus is likely on the relevant factors relating to the virtual conferences themselves, but I'd like to suggest some needed improvements to the website itself. Immediately after I log in, this is the page I get. Nothing about my scheduled meetings. Nothing to prompt me to create a new one. I don't want to host a meeting or join a meeting. I want to see what I've got coming up. So I go to "My Account" (top right), even though that's usually where I put things relating to contact info and payment. Oh well, it gets me closer. I can see a list of meetings by clicking on the left. Even so, the aim seems to be on managing meetings. It would be nice to have links right up front to cut/paste into emails and messaging services. The "now you see them, now you don't" buttons are an additional aggravation. Why aren't these just links next to each meeting in the list, rather than something that shows up or not based on where my pointer is?

I can't share my screen on Firefox, it says "your browser is preventing access to your share screen. Any help would be much appreciated.
thank you!
Just confirming: there is no way to track how long a particular registrant watched a recording without them having to be logged into a Zoom account? If on-demand registration is required for a recording, Zoom already has the name and email address of the registrant, correct? Why would these registrants then show up as "Guest" in the viewing analytics, instead of being identified by the name and email address they registered with to view the on-demand recording?

Pessoal que configuração eu devo usar pra quando eu sou a anfitriã e estou numa sala com mais de 150 pessoas para eu ver as telas de galeria alternando automaticamente?
I tutor using Whizzimo and Zoom on a Mac Pro laptop. My student also uses the same type of computer. I can give him remote control, but he cannot actually move anything in Whizzimo. He can use the Zoom tools, but I want him to be able to manipulate tiles in Whizzimo. What is causing this problem, and how can I fix it? Thank you.
