Last 2 Zoom calls I have screen image from TriDef Smart Cam as my image when I turn on my video in my zoom meeting.  I have tried to remove/uninstall the Tri Def App and reboot, no luck it's still there.  It's like app took over my zoom call.

Any ideas on how to remove?

Zoom has worked fine forever until recently. Now, when I try to "Join with Computer Audio," I get the error message: "Failed to detect your microphone and speaker. Please make sure your devices are properly connected."

This has been a problem for about a week. I have rebooted my work laptop many times since it started. I'm on Windows 10 with a Surface Pro. 

My microphone and speakers work perfectly fine in MS Teams and on Google Meet, so it seems like a ZOOM issue. Can anybody help? I got stuck when I tried Tech Support. 

I've been using image virtual background since I got my PC, but after updating zoom. I haven't been able to use virtual backgrounds. It says your device does not support virtual backgrounds. Please help this is my system

I run a successful weekly group for LGBTQ+ writers over Zoom. Participants find it through Meetup.com. In recent weeks we have had two separate incidents of Zoom bombing, which is, of course, interruptive and can be extremely offensive and disturbing. I already operate a waiting room but would like to ask the Zoom community if there are other screening measures I can introduce eg being able to question a new person who enters the waiting room. I would be very grateful for any suggestions.

My two factor code stopped working for some reason, so I have disabled it, re enabled it and setup a new QR code.

But I always get the error 'Error attempts are too frequent.' when entering the new 6 digit code to fully enable 2FA in the account..

I have tried resetting everything several times. Anyone know how to fix this?

i'm sorry, i used a new tablet. i didn't sign in zoom account yet, but i can follow a meeting and i recorded it.

but now, i don't know that video file.

I always hate it when none of the topic options seems to match my question in any way.  So I'm just posting here in the hope that someone will re-direct me to the appropriate forum.

For over a year, I have, in advance of a Zoom meeting, seleted a background for the meeting by logging in to Zoom through a shortcut, clicking the "Settings" button, selecting "Backgrounds and Settings", then choosing an clicking on one, which updated my background so that, when I logged in to the meeting, my chosen background was in place.

Last night when I followed that procedure, all of my backgrounds appeared as grayed out.  Clicking on any one of them did not instal them.  The "add" button was inoperative.

This morning I tried the same procedure after re-booting.  I got the same (non-) results.

In frustration, I uninstalled and reinstalled Zoom.  Except for the fact that now my personal backgrounds did not appear (as expected), the outcome after logging in through the shortcut was unchanged.  I looked up the Change Your Virtual Background Page, and attempted to follow the instructions.  I click on settings, then the meeting tab, then on InMeeting (Advanced).  This last had no effect, but I was able to scroll down to a Virtual Background item, where I verified that it was set to "on" and that "allow videos" was checked.  

It cannot be that the meeting host had for some reason disallowed backgrounds, as my inability to set a background existed prior to my joining a meeting.

The same device has been in use for every instance in this discussion.
