Hi All,

I have a HP Athlon laptop with the latest version of Zoom. When I start a meeting the audio connects straight away but the sound bar doesn't move when I speak, others can't hear me and it doesn't record my sound. I've tried uninstalling and checking the audio settings but to no avail.

It works fine on my tablet and the audio works as normal on my laptop while using Google Meet and Skype.

Any ideas on what could be wrong?

When i tap the button on the right to open, they do not open. There is no error message or no reason why I cannot access these. The chat bot has been zero help.

I need to get access asap and would greatly appreciate anyone's assistance.

Thanks,

Jack

Just to update on this - the very last thing I tried fixied the issue. It was the USB port that the camera was plugged into. I don't know why this occurred, maybe something got knocked - I haven't a clue 🙄 but suffice to say using a different port for the camera fixed the issue.

Hi,

Dreadful flickering has started in the past two days. I have tried the solutions as recommended in the thread Solved: Re: Camera flickering - Zoom Community  however, it doesn't work for me.

  1. I've checked my camera on other platforms and it is fine;
  2. I use Win version 10.0.22621 (Win11)
  3. I've checked for driver updates too and all good there.
  4. I joined a meeting via the cloud platform thinking it might just be the desktop app. Still flickering.
  5. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled, meaning I'm on the latest version. Still flickering.
  6. I use a LOGI HD1080p

Could Zoom please do something about this. It is awful having to deliver training when my students can't even see me.

Update:

Since installing the latest version, zoom now freezes and is unresponsive.

Is there a way to play a CD or recording on my desktop as part of a Zoom meeting?

I have been screen sharing an audio file from my MacBook Air and the music is heard clearly...when I speak, however, my voice is very quiet and cannot be heard clearly over the music.  Would using AirPods or a lapel mic help with this?  Is it a zoom issue or a Mac speaker issue?  For those of you who have had success sharing music AND speaking simultaneously, what is your secret?  Thank you!

When generating a details report for "active hosts", the spreadsheet generated had always included individual participant names (along with join and leave times for participants). Now it doesn't. I know the information has been recorded because I can click on participants (before generating the report) and see the information. I can even export a list of participants individually for each meeting but that is not feasible. I want to be able to export a spreadsheet that includes all individual participants one month at a time like I used to. Any help would be appreciated.

Crackeling sound for all participants, flickering Video for all, unusable junk!

Latest version on Mac OS X Ventura still starts to crackle and to flicker in a way, that you have to leave the meeting, as everybody else is impacted.
Latest version, fresh install: 5.12.9 (13190)

This is unusable junk.

Our church has been using Zoom for several years.  Since moving the host computer to Windows 11 from Windows 10, the host program begins to video-freeze after 20 minutes and then crashes Windows completely -- not a blue screen, a black one.  When we switch back to a Windows 10 host on the same internet provider, the system is quite stable.  We are "religious" about doing updates for Windows and Zoom.  For the moment we are considering Zoom to be incompatible with Windows 11.
