We are currently supporting a staff member that keeps having issues with using their webcam after they end a Zoom call. The staff member is on a Lenovo laptop, Windows 11 device. Once we reinstall the Video Driver (there is only one Realtek video driver for this device) it starts letting the employee use the webcam on Zoom again. This does not affect Teams. Has anyone experienced this issue? This will be the 3rd time we've re-installed the video driver to get Zoom to work for them.

Zoom has problem with Spotlight from ipad/iphone and Android

Hi tech,

       i use Zoom version is 5.15.2 (18096). i did use zoom with HOST then...i did spotlight to everyone and another 2nd spotlight....and iphone/ipad and android can't see 2 spotlight participate. Please Fix. Thank you very much.

Having another member of our group host the meeting with unlimited time that we pay for

I am going out of the country for 6 weeks so another person needs to be the host. I was able to register the new host as a user but I was only able to sign him up for basic service which is the free service so his time is limited to 40 minutes. Does ... Show more

Resolved! 録画に日付と時間が表示されるのを消したい

zoomミーティング(私1人で、画面共有しながら他人に見せる解説動画)を録画したんですが、

録画されたものを見ると、右下に日付と時間が表示されていました。

 

以前はこんな表示なかったはずなんですが・・・

これを消す(録画に表示させない)方法ってありますでしょうか? よろしくお願いいたします!

However, when I tried to play a backing track from my computer system (Macbook Pro) to accompany my singing, she could not hear any sound. This has worked perfectly up until now. Mic Controls not visible for one participant

Hi,

I have a participant who can enter my zoom meetings without the mic being under my control as the host. The mic icon is not visible on their zoom window, in the zoom window drop-down-list or in the participants list.  Where the mic control is usually displayed there is nothing.  And when I hover over the video control menu the Ask to Unmute options does not display. They also can still use their mic when I disable the Unmute Themselves option in the Security drop-down menu.

 

I can still hear them and they speak with the group without any problem, but I don't have any access to the mic controls and can't turn it off. I've asked them to turn the mic off, and they say they've turned it down on their end. 

 

Effectively, I have zero control over their wish to speak whenever they want.  Given I run a silent writing group, this opens up a security problem with zoom bombers.  Several of whom I've already had to deal with.  And my first line of defence being to turn off all the controls.  But in this situation I can't turn off their mic.

Has anybody else had this problem, and have you been able to prevent participants from entering the zoom room with total control over their own mic with the mic controls invisible?

Does Zoom work on an Apple M2 processor?

I'm thinking of buying a MacBook with an M2 processor.  I know the M1 is supported, is the M2 also supported?
I've only read a handful of posts/stories where it hasn't, so I assume that the M2 is supported by Zoom

I have had a recurring issue where meetings I schedule through the Outlook plug-in (version 5.14.10.876) are then be deleted on their own right after scheduling. This seems to occur when I do a meeting request (no sure if it also happens on a regular scheduled meeting) and have the plug-in schedule a Zoom meeting with it. I did not have this issue with prior versions of the plug-in.

 

Are there any know issues/bugs with this release?

Is it possible to no send the email confirmation registration mail for a meeting

I would like to send my own confirmation registration mail for a meeting. Is there a posibility to stop the email send automaticaly by zoom ?

New Breakout Rooms not included when participants open the 24 hour Zoom Room

I have a Zoom Pro account and have a Zoom Room that anyone with the ID and Passcode can start/join at any time 24 hours a day. It has 6 breakout rooms that anyone can join at any time of their choosing.

We manually close the meeting room once every 24 hours.

 

When someone other than myself is the first to open the Zoom Room for that day and they open the Breakout Rooms, they know to choose the option to let any participant join whatever Zoom Room they wish. The Zoom Breakout Rooms options are set by default to let any participant to return to the main room when they wish.

 

I just added a 7th breakout room. When I am the person to open the Zoom room, all 7 breakout rooms appear. But when someone else opens the Zoom room, only the original 6 Breakout rooms appear.

 

Adding a new breakout room did not cause this problem before - but it is a problem now.

 

  1. How do I set things up so that when anyone opens the Zoom Room and the Breakout Rooms that *all* 7 of the Breakout Rooms appear? That used to happen automatically but now it doesn't.
  2. Is there a way to set opening the breakout rooms to default to *allow participants to choose the breakout room* instead of defaulting to the host assigning people to the breakout rooms?
  3. Is there a way, when closing the breakout rooms, to set by default the closing time to 15 secs rather than the default 60 secs?
