Does Zoom allow one click meeting join from Outlook without opening browser

We use Teams and Zoom for meetings at my company. I prefer Teams because the meeting invites integrated to Outlook allow a one click join. What I mean is that when the meeting reminder pops up, there's a button to join the meeting and it opens the meeting directly.

In order to join a Zoom meeting, I have to...

  1. Open the meeting invite (either from the reminder or from the Outlook calendar)
  2. Click the Join Zoom Meeting link
  3. Then a browser tab opens
  4. Then finally I'm in the meeting

I don't know if this is a setting that's limited by Zoom itself or something my company has put in place. I feel that as popular as Zoom is across the world, that a one click join should be an option. Also, if I open the Zoom desktop app, none of the meetings show up unless I created them. Is it possible to configure it to show all of my Zoom meetings, regardless of who created them?

I upgraded my Zoom account. Instead of upgrading my account, Zoom created a second account with the same email address as the user name. Now when I start a meeting, I don't know which account I'll be using and whether the meeting will have to end after 30 minutes. I would delete the original profile, but I'm nervous about Zoom software quality. (I am sure that I specified a pay-per-month plan, but Zoom charged me for the whole year in advance, which I did not expect and did not intend to consent to.) Now I never know which account I am signing in to when I launch zoom. thank goodness I used different photos for the profiles.

Can I delete my original (free) account with 100% confidence that I won't be deleting the paid account too, and flushing away a year's prepayment? The Zoom chatbot was flummoxed by this question.

We use Zoom to collaborate on photos - share critiques, etc. Typically a participant or the host will share his/her Adobe Lightroom screen and show photos that are in Lightroom (sent to them by the other participants). Photo size on the shared computer is either 1920 pixels horizontally or 1200 pixels vertically.

What we're finding is the image originators say their images aren't as sharp as the original files when viewed on Zoom.

Is there something in the Zoom app/process that is subtly degrading the image quality?

I have been using Zoom on my MacBook Pro for almost two years with no problems.

Recently, my built-in facetime camera shuts off during meetings randomly from 1 second to 10 minutes into the session. It is turned back on if I stop and restart my video but it shuts off again at random.

I have tried to update to the latest version.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Zoom on the desktop

I have shut down every other app running in parallel.

I have opted out of hardware acceleration, both incoming and outgoing.

Nothing seems to work.

Please help.

Thanks

How to set up Zoom to open on meetings page?

Zoom opens up on my profile page when I sign in. I've seen a colleague's account open up on the meetings page when they sign in.  How can I change my account to do the same?

I have been having an issue with Zoom call video out. It doesn't always happen but has been pretty much the norm lately. When I enter a Zoom call (whether I'm hosting or not) the other participants can't see me but can hear me. I do my calls from an iMac desktop with the latests update of the operating system. My camera is working and I authorize the use of my camera on the call at the beginning. I can see myself in the window, but no one else can.

My camera works as expected for FaceTime and Facebook video calls.

This is a big problem for me because I need to do Zoom calls with my customers. I've tried turning off my VPN for Zoom calls, resetting my wireless router before calls. I have tried to get this to work with Safari and Firefox. That doesn't seem to make any difference.

The kicker in all of this is that occasionally, the video works without issue on Zoom calls.

Any idea of what I need to do to resolve this issue?

Hello, I am preparing a rather large international meeting of our sports federation. I sheduled mandatory registration and manual confirmation by the host.
In the registration the invited participant fills in. The COUNTRY field is essential for me to have an overview (there will be only one person from each country). I will prompt each participant with the name of their country.
But I have a problem. When I manually confirm on the account, I see the name, email address but I don't see the COUNTRY field even though the participant filled it in. Later on in the waiting room and further down the list of connected participants, I only see the name. I don't even see the address anymore. This is very annoying and a big complication. Is there any way to change this so that the COUNTRY field is the primary visible information ? Where can I actually see all the fields that the participant has filled in when registering ? Is there some kind of complete spreadsheet ?

Hi!

We get customer requests via Calendly. The zoom links are created automatically. My Zoom account is linked to Calendly. Therefore, the meetings are also displayed in my Zoom account. Depending on time availability, I handle the requests myself or my employee does. However, my employee cannot see the scheduled meetings. Where can I set that all users - registered in my account - can also see all meetings?

Thank for helping.

Greetings
Christian
