I am sorry if these quesitons have been asked and answered already, but since I am not very good with technical matters, I could not find them.

I am sort of trying to figure one thing out here, and that is what sort of possibilites I have when it comes to recording things on Zoom.

I do get the basic recording part ( I have tried it and it seems to work both when I am speaking as well as when other's are speaking. And both people get recorded....)

What I am curious about is this though, is it possible to do more with the recording feature?

What I would really like to do is to have some sort of "save option" so i could save 2 minutes of talk. Then continue on and if I am not happy with the next part of the recording I would just like to get back to my "latest save" and start over from there....Is this something that is possible to do?

If not, would it be possible to record and then save that recording part "without shuttting down" Zoom? ( If that is a possibility then I could just record different parts in one session and then use another application for merging the parts.

If this is not possible is it possible to make one small recording, close down Zoom and then just use the same link again to "open up Zoom" and continue with another recording, or do I need to schedule a new meeting for every single part I would like to save?

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Resolved! Removing Outlook as Default Calendar

Running Mac OS. New update to Zoom no longer brings up iCal when scheduling a meeting but defaults to Outlook, which I don't use. Does anyone know how to remove Outlook?

Ok here is a brain teaser.

  1. All participants Videos in my Zoom meetings Audio lags almost 2-3+ Seconds behind the video
    1. with more than one participant All video's become Crappy.
    2. When participant's video's are in the preview screen and not in the Main view all videos are clean and no audio lag.
    3. system is not wireless connected.
  2. Troubleshooting
    1. Speed tests on this system are good.
      1. Down - 80Mbps
      2. Up - 15Mbp
      3. Jitter - 2.85 ms
      4. Latency 30.7
    2. When I join the same meeting with my laptop on the same network through the same hardware (same Network path as the Above system), my laptop has none of these issues. So it seems tied to the above system alone
    3. CPU and Graphics Resources are not struggling during meeting
    4. I did just uninstall and reinstall ZOOM.. same issue
      1. Current running version of zoom - 5.13.11
      2. Windows 11 - 22h2 - 22621.1413
      3. intel - i5-9400T
      4. 16Gig of RAM
      5. Lenovo drivers are up to date
    5. Joined meeting with another Windows User profile on the system as well. same issue
    6. turned off all optimization of sending and receiving video. no change
    7. all other conference apps i use on this system does not have these issues.

If any one has any suggestions i am open.... Seems like every troubleshooting site or suggestion i have is for fixing Glitching or delay audio for Sending. Not much out there for issues with Receiving.

I will have to play a video for a future meeting. How must I , or what settings do I have to perform to get the audio from the video on my computer to all the connected zoom members? I am sharing the screen of the video and it plays correctly. I have a USB mic and external speakers, but I want to route the audio playing on my computer into the zoom session as host.
