I was helping a colleague prepare for a Visa Project this morning. When he shared his screen I saw a checkered black box representative of the participants he had on his screen and of the zoom controls bar (audio mute video stop, chat etc.)  I am sure it is a setting but we were not able to find it in the time we had. Does anyone have a suggestion or knowledge of what would cause this problem? We can't fix it for today's presentation so he will muddle through, but we need to resolve it before the next presentation.

Show Which Meeting(s) are In Progress on Home Screen

My team has several recurring meetings that occur daily--some used as a classroom, some used as a meeting between staff, some for students, etc. Our staff all has scheduling privileges for each other's accounts so we are able to see all the meetings.... Show more

My team has several recurring meetings that occur daily--some used as a classroom, some used as a meeting between staff, some for students, etc. Our staff all has scheduling privileges for each other's accounts so we are able to see all the meetings.

On the Meetings tab from the zoom website, it lists all the meetings, and puts a red camera next to a meeting that is 'in progress.' On the desktop (windows) client, it does not show this icon. 

It would be very helpful for us to know which meeting(s) are live when we look at home screen.

Incoming audio from streamed music is initially clear, then becomes garbled and low-volume

Running Zoom version 5.13.11 (13434) on a Dell XPS 9520 laptop with 64GB of RAM, an external screen, and external speakers. Windows 11. Using the Brave browser (and Microsoft Edge as a backup).

When I attend a Zoom meeting for my choral group, everything is fine until the host begins streaming music from Youtube. I hear the music perfectly for a few seconds, but then its volume goes way down, and at the same time, the sound becomes garbled.

If I switch to another speaker device, I'll hear the music clearly again: but again, only for a few seconds. Then it becomes garbled and low-volume.

 

I can't find any audio setting that fixes this problem. Turning "Signal processing by Windows audio device drivers" OFF seemed promising at first, as I got maybe 10 full seconds of clear music. But then again, the volume cut down and became garbled.

 

Once the streaming finishes and the host begins speaking again, the sound is fine for her and others' speech.

 

Update: just near the end of the choral rehearsal, I tried joining the meeting in the Microsoft Edge browser (rather than Brave). I had the same audio problems. However, when I turned  "Signal processing by Windows audio device drivers" OFF, I got good sound for a full 30 seconds, at which point the piece that the host was streaming ended. As it was the last piece of the rehearsal, I was unable to do any further testing.

Como puedo borrar o retirar la contraseña de reuniones programadas, ya tengo activado la sala de espera con solicita la configuración. Quiero que mis alumnos ingresen de forma directa a la sala con el enlace que les doy y nunca pasa eso, siempre le vuelve a pedir contraseña a cada ruenión programa. ¿Que debo hacer? ya que veo que otras cuentas si puedes ingresar sus alumnos y ya no le pide que ingresen la contraseña (delete password).

Whenever I attempt to log on I get this message, "Start new meeting? You will have to leave this meeting to start the new meeting. " with an option in red to click , "Leave & Start" or cancel.  Problem is I am not in a meeting, I am trying to log onto a meeting. This just started happening yesterday.  I am not able to join any of my scheduled zoom meetings - those I have scheduled, or those I others have invited me to join their meetings.  Help!!!

Meeting codes sent from wrong email address

My meeting codes go out fine and I can connect. But... the email address that it is sent from is my personal email address (a hotmail one) and not the one that I keep all my professional work on. And I can't see why this is happening as that email ad... Show more

My meeting codes go out fine and I can connect.  But... the email address that it is sent from is my personal email address (a hotmail one) and not the one that I keep all my professional work on. And I can't see why this is happening as that email address is not in my profile or any setting I can see. Anyone know how to change it? 
It causes problems as clients then email me back at that address and I don't see the material in a timely manner.

Hi can anyone help? When I record a zoom session for training later my little zoom video box of me talking covers the right hand corner of the screen share! I need to move this as the top right hand corner has information I need to show. 
how do I make the shared screen smaller so my video box doesn’t encroach on the shared screen?
