Previously - before the Xmas vacation - when I moved to a breakout room my in meeting chat moves with me. Today I was the host and went to a breakout group to answer a question and my chat did not move with me. The chat was not showing when I returned to the main room. However when I saved the chat it saved all the items that I had previously posted.

We need a feature of the chat moving with the participant so that they can be given a brief for the breakout and refer to the questions in the breakout so if this is a "new feature" that is going to be a real pain. If however it is a short term problem or bug then I will be glad to see it resolved

I am not getting the support i need to set up certain features in my Pro account. I was told that i cannot receive live support because my plan does not allow me to have this service. i am not even getting a customer service person on the line  to explain this nuance to me. 

It seem the full contract content was not understood,  to show what is included in my zoom plan. Very  challenging to get help here.

Recording

Hi after the most recent Zoom update when i assign a host to my zoom meetings they are unable to record the meeting. I am also unable to record in a breakout session. 

If anyone can assist that would be helpful!

Accessibility for keyboard users in side-by-side mode

I have a question for those of us who use a keyboard instead of a mouse for accessibility reasons. When in a meeting or webinar in side-by-side mode, is there a keyboard shortcut to move that middle slider?

MacOS Big Sur Version 11.7.9 doesn't start the camera or any exterior camera

I installed Zoom again. I tried with an exterior camera, but Zoom doesn't show video with either one. Both cameras work with other applications perfectly.

 

Does anyone have the same issue?

Cloud recording issue

I have a recording on the cloud but when I play it, show this message:
"The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported"

Hello, I'm brand new to the Zoom discussion board so please be gentle.

 

Problem: Using the Desktop Zoom app, under the Meetings tab, there is a setting located on the left side underneath My Personal Meeting ID called "Meeting Hosted By" I have a drop down menu to choose from settings like:

 

Me

Everyone

All my conference rooms

 

Right now this setting defaults to Everyone which then begins to send Upcoming meeting notifications to me for the whole company. I know how to change this setting on a per user basis but I'd like to change this globally. Is this possible?

I am an administrative assistant and I manage calendars and meetings for a few people. As such, sometimes I need to log into their zoom account for various reasons. Ever since I logged into my boss's account, anytime I join a meeting I join as him. I've tried logging out and logging in as myself. I've even tried adding the zoom extension to my google calendar and logging in as myself, but to no avail. I still join with his name and profile picture and then I have to rename it and change the profile picture. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Zoom extension

Whenever I duplicate the scheduled meeting with Zoom extension of Chrome. It changes the meeting invite link and this issue is being faced recently. Does anyone knows if it is expected behaviour.
