It must be something wrong with my settings. Are there anything I can do to hear the background instrument? I can hear the host talking but whenever he plays the instrument (which is a drum and and bell) then they completely got cut out.

Thank you very much.

Can anyone help with this? I want to have two people on camera doing a role play, and an additional box, the same size (as if it were a third person on camera) with skills for them to be able to look at while they're working together. The rest of the meeting attendees would also be able to see both of them and the skills as well while off camera. I looked this up in settings on "share screen side by side" but I didn't have that option. Do I have to pay for an upgrade? I'd appreciate any ideas and clear step by step instructions if possible.

Thanks!

We have a meeting every week with about 20 participants. One person has issues being heard when other people are unmuted. I will outline the problem and our attempt to solve it. I hope there might be some setting in Zoom that might help.

During the first part of the meeting everyone is muted except one speaker. That works find for all speakers.

In the second part of the meeting is discussion where participants can unmute and participate.

This works for everybody except one. This person (person 1) can be heard well until someone talks. It seems that person 1 can not be heard or her volume is greatly reduced.

Normally person 1 is using a Apple computer with Airbuds. However, last week she was at our house and used a Thinkpad using Windows 10. We used the builtin camera and mic. We had two users on this computer, person 1 and person 2. Person 2 had no issues during the discussion. Person 2 had the same issue that she did when using her Apple/Airpods when she was at home.

Person 1 is 89 years old and her voice gravely but not faint or quiet. That is the only difference I can think of.

Does anyone have any suggestions about settings in Zoom that we could try to improve this issue.

Thanks for your help,

RobertShaver

Connectivity problems

The next time I'm hosting a Zoom meeting and I start having wifi issues, how can I leave and come back without ending the meeting for everyone? Making a co-host doesn't seem to work.

I post the URL to recorded sessions so anyone who missed the meeting can see what is going on.

I'm a new admin.  I go to recording management, find the personal room used to conduct the Zoom session.

I click on the button for "get a sharable link" and then post that link for students.

When the student tries to access the recording, a dialogue box opens and requests the passcode. [see attached image].

I was under the impression that the passcode was embedded in the link.

What am I doing wrong?

tnx

Hi there, I have a paid subscription to Zoom and I used to automatically get an email after my meeting with a link to the recording. This enabled me to open the email on my phone and choose only to upload the voice part of the recording on my phone, easy.

Now after the meeting it prompts me to save to my Hard Drive, the meetings do not appear in Zoom and it makes the process harder to get on my phone.    I have looked in the settings but can't seem to fix it.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.  cheers Annie
