Is it possible to add and option to mute selected participants. Without locking the mute to every participant in the meeting. This would be a helpful option to have. So we could just disallow selected participants to not be allowed to unmute themself. An still allowing other participants to unmute themselves.

When I'm sharing my PPT screen on full screen, I often use the "pause share" feature and make edits to future slides. I then go back to full screen mode, but I when I hit "resume share" it always exits of full screen mode. Anyone know why it's doing that? Or what do I need to do?

I scheduled the zoom meeting and according to the participants, I was the host. However, when I tried to screen share, I was prevented as I "was not the host." I had no shield icon to allow others to screen share. One participant had the shield, but she was prevented from screen sharing as well. NO ONE AT THE MEETING COULD SCREEN SHARE. I could not enable another host. Is there any way to resolve this during the meeting?

I started a meeting, then transferred to a different host who then recorded the meeting. I could see that the meeting was being recorded, but now neither the transferred host nor I can find the recording on our local computers or in the cloud. Is there a way that Zoom can recover the recording?

I tried two ways to reschedule a meeting with an individual attendee. First, I did a rescheduling—just as I had successfully done two weeks ago. But this time I got a “Request failed with status code 401” notification. Then I tried to simply do a new appointment for the given date. That failed too—“status code 401.” One other annoying problem was that when I tried to use Zoom’s chat support (“Zoe, Zoom’s virtual agent for technical support and Billing”), not only didn’t I find the help I needed, but the chatbox stays one the screen—even when I reboot—and partly obscures the view. I can't get rid of it. But the crucial issue is getting my new appointment set up by Wednesday morning, June 14. I’d much appreciate help on this. Thanks, Steve A. (“stadvo”)

I need some help! Used our Zoom Subscription from our school and it expired. Purchased a new one for my business - educational business - and that keeps popping up. I've tried disabling, abling, etc., etc.,, etc.
Thanks in advance.
I need to use Zoom for my studies launched from Google Classroom, and have had a lot of problems with lagging and crashing. I upgraded my broadband to full fibre, but still had problems. I bought a new laptop which is Win11 in S mode so can't install the app, and find I am still unable to follow a full class via the MS Edge browser without lagging and crashing. I don't seem to have issues with any other programmes with either this or other laptops using the same internet connection. Typically there are around 15 people on the call at a time, and we are in and out of breakout rooms a lot - this often takes a long time to manage the transition. I am wondering whether I need to come out of S mode and install the Zoom app. Will that improve my connection quality? I understand it's irreversible and will mean losing some security reassurance so don't want to unless it is likely to actually help. If not that, then what?? If there are technical things to check in settings etc, can instructions please be idiot proof? All advice gratefully received
