How to know who locked a meeting?

Hello, is there a way to know which co-host locked a past meeting? Maybe a log or something?

Is anyone else having issues with needing to re-register for Zoom meetings that you've already registered for?  After I register and a meeting is put into my calendar, I haven't been able to click on the Zoom link within the invite...I need to figure out some other way to log in. It will say I haven't registered yet. This has happened on 4 devices now (2 different Microsoft devices, Chromebook, Phone).

I have created a zoom meeting with registration, is there any way the approved participants join the meeting via the invite link (with passcode), rather than joining the meeting with the generated unique link sent by the email.

As we are going to have some parallel sessions, we don't want the guest received many email or they will mixed up the links.

For mobile devices, it will ask you to sign in and join the meeting successfully, but its not happening in Desktop version, it will go to the registration page even I have already registered.

I have had several meetings via zoom now where folks have already registered well in advance, they use the confirmation email they were sent by zoom after they registered, and then the day comes to join and they are sent to the registration page when they click "join meeting". The only workaround that I have found is for people to join on their phones, which doesn't work for everyone.

We often conduct zoom meetings with numerous people outside the business. Registration is open a month in advance and a lot of people forgot to put it in their calendar. To avoid this, I create a calendar invite and import all the registered emails from the meeting report in zoom so as to remind them of the meeting in their calendar.

All registration links appear unique. I don't want to start a meeting where everyone is called "Elise" because I've shared my registration link! Is there a link to the meeting I can send with the invite that can be used by everyone?

The typical behavior for an office admin here is to put calendar events on someone's calendar, with the associated Zoom event going onto the account of the person in question. Zoom normally selects the correct Zoom account to use when booking, based on the calendar selected. I'm seeing some folks where this automatic matching of calendars to accounts is broken. Is there a setting I should be checking on? In the past, we've simply logged out and back into Zoom and the issue cleared. For the folks experiencing the broken behavior, nothing so far has helped. Seeing the issue on PC and Mac.

Tried:

  • signing out and back into Zoom
  • closing and opening outlook
  • restarting the computer
  • uninstalling and reinstalling Zoom and the plug-in

Resolved! Clicking Record just opens Recording Settings after Update

I've always been able to record my meetings without a problem, but since the most recent update, when I click the record button, it just opens up settings to the recordings tab. Is anyone else having this problem? Any ideas how to fix it?

I've been using zoom for for all my meetings and classes. however recently I've been having issues with music stoppage or pausing when I share my audio with my students.   I'm streaming my music from Youtube and have no issues on this platform, however, when I share on zoom the music plays, then fades away, stop then resume. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

How many times have you been running from one meeting to the next but your next meeting is Zoom.  You launch Zoom and Bam!  Zoom is forcing an update. The update runs, you have NO CHOICE, and now you're late for the meeting, missing important information. Then to make matters worse, you're automatically signed out of zoom and have to complete the login process again, further delaying your ability to join the meeting.  Three minutes later, you're finally joining the meeting,  Even worse if you're the host.

Do you think this is a professional way to handle updates? I don't.  Let Zoom know if you agree with me.

A better solution would be to provide an option to update at the END of your Zoom meeting via a prompt, in case you have back to back meetings.

There isn't even a category for the APP, only features of the app - Zoom - let's step up your game.

Desktop audio is not sharing while sharing iPad screen to meeting

I am hosting a Zoom meeting on my Windows 11 laptop (LG gram), and I am sharing my iPad screen in the meeting, through screen mirroring (by selecting “iPhone/iPad” under “Share Screen” on the laptop, and then selecting screen mirroring on the iPad.)

When I selected “iPhone/iPad” for screen mirroring, I also checked the box in the lower left-hand corner of the window for “Share sound“. This should have allowed sound from audio files played on the desktop (for example, through Windows Media Player)—or from YouTube videos played through a browser on the desktop—to be heard while the participants are seeing the screen share from the iPad. I remember being able to do this a few months ago when I was teaching over Zoom. But now it doesn’t seem to work. The other participants can’t hear any of the sound from the audio file or YouTube video. They can only hear my voice.

If I SWITCH the screen share from the iPad to Windows Media Player (by clicking on “New Share”), then participants CAN hear the audio (but of course then they cannot see the iPad screen).

Do I need to select any particular setting in order to allow participants to hear audio files being played on my computer while simultaneously viewing the screen share from the iPad (given that checking the “Share sound” box doesn’t seem to accomplish that)?

Thank you for your help!

Chris
